Patacon Pisa'o

This family-style restaurant prides itself on serving "comida casera" or the most authentic Colombian style food possible. These are family recipes they've been serving at their Doral location for 15 years and are now serving up in their newer Kendall restaurant as well. In Kendall, open in August 2010, the space is larger and was built from the ground up. It's got booths as well as tables unlike Doral which is a bit cozier and only has quaint tables for two or four.

Delicious food is the one thing both restaurants share and all the typical well known Colombian appetizers as well as entrees and fresh juices are available here. Their sancocho de pescado, a fish soup, is so popular it's usually finished by noon since folks grab it for take-out. They've also got two daily specials that rotate throughout the week.
