Il Mito Enoteca

The Word "Enoteca" in Italian means Wine Bar, but a literal Translation would be incorrect.
While Enotecas all over Italy do serve a wide range of Wines by the Glass just like American Wine Bars, they differ in atmosphere, food and in the general attitude towards the wine and food experience.
They are generally very relaxed and casual in atmosphere and attitude. Foods served are generally simple and rustic, to complement the wines and enhance the conversation.
In Enotecas you will find cheese plates and Salami and cured meat Samplers, or Salads, Bruschettas, Pastas, pizzas and more.
You will not be served un-flavorful love less food and you also won't be served in a large, large Plate, with a tiny, tiny portion of food in the center, with some sort of sauce design to make it "pretty".
In Authentic Enoteca Cooking, fresh and good ingredients, flavors and simplicity are what counts!
