Matthew's - Downtown

Paso Robles, California: Matthew's opened in January 2007. It is located at 1215 Spring St., Paso Robles, California, in the beautiful downtown adjacent to the Park. Matthew's takes its name from its chef/owner, Matthew Riley, and its location. Matthew is a member of the American Culinary Federation and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (Hyde Park, New York). He is formerly of the famed REX IL RESTAURANTE (Los Angeles, California). Matthew relocated to the California central coast in 1996, attracted by the area's beautiful golden rolling hills and its up and coming artisan wine region known for its Zinfandel and Rhone varietal grapes. Using classical techniques with an innovative approach to American cuisine Matthew is able to exclusively feature wines of the Central Coast, paring them with a menu consisting of locally grown products.
