GRAND HOUSE CHINA BISTRO opened in Oklahoma City in 1984. *Dim-Sum Story * : How and when "Dim-Sum" started in China is not sure but it certainly can be traced back to a rustic beginning prior to the time of the Tang Dynasty (618A.D. to 907 A.D.). From then on, this mode of eating improved and expanded and in time reached this degree of sophistication. In Chinese Culture, it is a way of life for family members and friends to get together in a favorite restaurant to partake of a great variety of food stuffs from the parade of trolleys, while renewing the bond of closeness and the same time savoring the many tidbits. The main cooking of the "Dim-Sum" can be categorized into: Steaming, wok searing, deep frying, baking etc. GRAND HOUSE CHINA BISTRO proudly prepares and serves this traditional Chinese meal every Saturday and Sunday.
