Mio Kitchen & Wine Bar is the creation of local chef Matthew Porco. Built from his experience and inspired by his tenure as Chef de Cuisine at famed Veritas in New York City, Mio is an upscale restaurant with a temperature controlled wine cellar and a seasonally changing New American menu. From the chef's tasting menu to our innovative and delectable desserts, we offer a carefully cultivated array of tastes and sensations that promise a memorable dining experience. Our professional and talented staff provides patron's with attentive table service, daily menu information and there is always a sommelier available to assist with wine suggestions and accompaniments. Conveniently located in the heart of Aspinwall and easily accessible from Route 28 and the Highland Park Bridge, our smoke-free dining environment combines a pleasant harmony of contemporary design and casual comfort. Mio serves dinner only and is open Tuesday thru Sunday. Reservations are recommended.
