O'Keeffe Cafe enjoys a national reputation for its Creative American Cuisine. The Cafe is housed in an adobe dating back to the mid-19th Century and was used during the Civil War as a billet for Federal officers. Adjacent to the world-famous Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, two dining rooms filled with red roses provide an intimate dining setting. In the warm summer months, dining is available on the patio beneath a 150-year-old box elder. The dining rooms are decorated with photos of Georgia O'Keeffe's life in northern New Mexico. The Cafe is unsurpassed in Santa Fe as a wine venue; with 180 wines by the bottle--mostly Napa Cabs, Bordeaux and Burgundy reds--the Cafe has won Awards of Excellence from the Wine Spectator in 2004, 2005, & 2006. In 2003 the International Wine & Food Society presented its Award of Excellence as did the North American Restaurant Association in 2006.
