Papa Mo's Deli
465 TC Jester Blvd, Houston, Texas 77007
MY REVIEW: I liked Papa Mo's. On my most recent visit, I ordered a BLT and it had a lots of bacon, lettuce and tomato. I have also had their hamburgers, fries, split pea soup, salads and other items on their menu. All have been good. Prices are good. It is a real New York Deli. It is across the street from the Fire Station, two blocks north of I-10.

MY REVIEW: Saw an online ad for Papa Mo's and decided to go check it out. It's in a small, older strip center. Not much to look at on the outside or inside. It's a deli, so I decided to order deli food to check it out. Ordered a pastrami on rye and got the special (potato salad and unlimited soda) for an extra two bucks. The first thing I noticed about the sandwich was how thin it was. There was hardly any pastrami on it. It tasted good, but the lack of meat was disappointing. I must be spoiled, because at the deli I frequent in the Galleria area, I pay $14 for a pastrami sandwich (which is a high price) but it is literally stuffed with pastrami. I paid half of that here, and received about 1/8th of the meat. Potato salad was fair. Best part of the meal was the unlimited soda. I doubt I'll be back.
