Perfect Blend Bakery Cafe

MY REVIEW: At first glance I loved this bakery being in my neighborhood and was so happy to see something new to the area! I was first a customer when they had only been open a week or so. I thought the selection was sparse, but chose a few items to take home anyway. I was disappointed to arrive home with some items missing from my box - items that I paid for. Their creme puffs and mini eclairs DID taste very good, however I wouldn't pay $2.00 each for them again...they are minis, not full size. Their tiramissu was a bit bland, as was the red velvet cake icing. Given that this was their 1st week I decided I would give them a few months and try again.

I visited again last month butwas still disappointed with their prices and their product flavors. My cupcake was reasonably priced at $2.50, but the cake was very dry and not worth the cost. The red velvet slice was $4.95 and the icing had the non-sweet bland flavor of cream cheese & crisco. The price for this cake rivaled the Cheesecake F*actory, but the flavor was no rival at all.

I doubt I will give them another shot. I appreciate the 'family' atmosphere, but this place needs work! I give them maybe 2 stars out of 10.
