Green Seed Vegan Cafe

MY REVIEW: I've been supporting Green Seed Vegan since they were in the food truck and I repeatedly want to believe the best of the people that work there as well but unfortunately I feel as if I need to ***warn*** people. The employees have lackluster attitudes regarding customer service; which disappoints me. The last time I was there the person talking my order was impatient and non-helpful. I had just returned from a 5 hr flight and was excited to detox and eat good green food.

***Pros*** the food is awesome, the root brownie is Delish

***Cons*** I walked down to the post office, stood in line and when I walked back my food still wasn't done...Really ?!

***Con*** I asked the owner to think about increasing the size of the RAW ROCKIN TACOS....he pretty much ignored me even though I praised the business and the food. I believe for $8, 3 small tacos are a pricey and not filling/satisfying (even for an average raw/vegan eater) To me raw good should scream abundance not scarcity. The food screams scarcity for the price you pay.

MY REVIEW: Great REAL food! Every time I get something new and have yet to be disappointed. Pricier than my typical lunch but I'm full when I leave and the real food is definitely worth it. I always go back to the counter to order a dessert because I can't resist. Tasty brownies and cookies!

MY REVIEW: This is an excellent vegan restaurant. The menu is amazing along with all of the smoothies and drinks and wheat grass sides etc. I've had the Solstice portobello sandwich and the cauliflower sandwich. Both made fresh. Smoothies are superb.

The restaurant is small, but you can get take out. The wait is a little long but worth it, and the employees are very accommodating and chilled. Come with a friend and relax a bit!

MY REVIEW: The Green Seed Vegan Food Truck now has an actual restaurant, Green Seed Cafe. It's small, cozy place with tables inside and out. The people that run this little joint are so nice, accommodating and knowledgeable.

Green Seed Cafe cranks out healthy, handmade food. No frozen boca patties just fresh ingredients. They also serve smoothies, kombuchas and juices. I've had the Burque burger with an amazing buckwheat (non-meat) patty with arugula, onions, tomato and avocado. Their burgers are a must try with lots of flavor and they are not dry. There is no meat on the menu as it is a vegan/vegetarian cafe but please do not let that deter you from trying something different. Your body will thank you.

Prices are low to medium and anything you get there is definitely worth the money you pay. The establishment does take credit cards as they have an iPad point of sale ordering system.

If you have that one friend or relative who visits and is vegan/vegetarian, this is the place to take them!

MY REVIEW: Small but interesting menu (and make sure to check out the elixir menu, too!) - had the Tosh and it was fantastic (and enough to only eat half). We got the sweet potato fries which were good but were really wanting to try the kale chips - apparently they go quickly because they were all out by the time we got there.

Make sure to bring cash and a towel to sit on, though they may have opened their non-truck location and might take more forms of payment (and have seats!)
