MY REVIEW: After all the commercials, we were so excited to go for the first time. though my steak was good, it wasn't spectacular. The bread is not tasty. My baked potato came "loaded" - I had to ask for more toppings because there were non to speak of . I would rather go to Salt G*rass or O*utback.

MY REVIEW: Food was great, service was friendly, kind of slow only because they were busy. Atmosphere was very texas style. Reasonably priced for a steak lunch. Will definately go back.

MY REVIEW: I had a craving for a prime rib dinner and went to Longhorn at about 3:00 in the afternoon. The prime rib wasn't on the lunch menu I was given so the waitress brought be a dinner menu and I ordered. She came back a few minutes later to say that it was not ready before 4:00 so I left to do some errands and returned after 4:00. The food was very good and arrived fast. I asked for my check and the waiter told me the manager, Billy I think, had picked up the tab and thanked me for coming back.

MY REVIEW: Called twice in advance due to large party (of 10). They said they had one table that could accommodate 10 or they could split us up at two tables if needed. Took my name and said to let them know when we arrived. The hostess confirmed when we arrived that they were waiting on our table. I stated that we arrived early and would wait at the bar area. An hour later still no table. No offer to accommodate us. No service from management to keep our service. We left and went to a much bettr establishment that was very accommodating.
Don't go to this restaurant if you have a large party. One table only that seats only 10.

MY REVIEW: We had a very enjoyable and relaxed visit. Monday was my husband's birthday and I'm glad we went on a day that isn't historically busy. There were 5 of us and if I had to complain about anything it would be that we were seated in an oversize booth instead of a table. My adult children looked a little cramped. The restaurant wasn’t busy and there were round tables that would have been a better fit. The wait staff were accommodating and professional. Our waiter, Carlos stopped by to let us know exactly where the kitchen was with our order. For the appetizer we ordered the shrimp and lobster dip with chips and it was so good that we even sopped some of the remaining cheese sauce with the complimentary bread. I had a Berry Sangria that was both tasty and refreshing.
The food presentation was very good. My daughter had a specialty salad and it come out on a chilled plate. My daughter ordered her steak medium plus but it came out too well done. No problem the Manager, Sean apologized, explained how his kitchen had been trained to prepare steaks, whisked it away and viola’ another better prepared, hot and juicy steak came to our table with a new baked potato. The flavor of their steaks are phenomenal for the money. The steak lovers really enjoyed their steaks. My husband said that his parmesan chicken was good and I had the trout with shrimp and lobster, also good.
At the end, for his birthday my husband had a complimentary ice cream sundae and it came with several chilled spoons. If Longhorn can keep up this level of service commitment and ensure that their kitchen staff produces a tasty and eye appealing meal they should have no problem in Pearland.

MY REVIEW: We tried out this Longhorn Steakhouse out of curiosity because they will be opening one on our side of town in November. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit! Service was outstanding, the environment was very pleasant (appreciated the sound proofing so that we were able to chat without yelling at each other!) and the food was DELICIOUS! My husband had the bacon crusted sirloin and I had the flat iron steak. Both steaks were very tender and seasoned just right. The salads were fresh and the sides were also good. Really looking forward to having a Longhorn on the east side of town! And how could I forget the berry sangria! Yum! :)

MY REVIEW: 6 adults & 3 kids tried this out on a Tuesday night with mixed results. The service was a little shaky but not too bad considering its still new. It was the food that needed inproving. My Outlaw Ribeye, the house specialty, ordered medium rare, was very rare. 2 fillets were tough and all the steaks had way too much pepper. A grilled trout was "really good", and a grilled chicken dinner salad also had too much pepper. The kids meals were fine; they're hard to mess up. We didn't complain or send anything back, but if I return and the food quality hasn't improved, that's it. Lots of other places serving a similar menu that are superior.

MY REVIEW: We were eagerly awaiting the opening of Longhorn Steakhouse in Sugarland, and after eating there we left asking why.
The restaurant itself is set up nicely and the menu and prices seemed similar to that of S*ltgrass Steakhouse, but those are the only similarities. The steak we ordered (Porterhouse) was a select grade or less- full of gristle and difficult to cut even with the steak knife. The side sweet potato had an okay flavor but was stringy. My wife had a bowl of their onion soup, but was unimpressed as it had a big piece of bread in it versus a crouton and was just lukewarm.
All in all we were very unimpressed with our meal and won't be dining there again.
