MY REVIEW: The last time we were here I had the turkey burger and really enjoyed it. This time I had the Angus burger, and it was great as well. They use high quality, fresh ingredients. My husband and I shared an order of onion rings, and they came with a spicy cilantro jalapeno ranch dipping sauce and also ketchup that tasted homemade. Nice little touches at this place and very friendly service. The burger was too big for me to finish - servings are very generous. My husband had one of their Blue Bell shakes and loved it. Great neighborhood spot.

MY REVIEW: Loved the atmosphere, the decor, I went a bit after the lunch rush but there was still somewhat of a steady stream of customers coming in, including two big burly guys who came in and just got pie :) I had the turkey burger and though the cashier warned it was a bit spicy, it was so flavorful and moist, perfect with the thinner-type brioche toasted bun. I love the "S" brand on the top of the bun. Also got the chocolate pie which was as good as my own homemade-from-scratch pie (and I don't mean made from Jello pudding, I mean from scratch!) Will definitely go back. The salads looked good and I want to try the shakes. If you're on a diet, thick twice about coming in here unless you have tons of willpower. Veggie burger and turkey burger and salads look great but who can resist the pie? I will come back during the holidays and try the pumpkin pie and see if it's as good as my mom's.

MY REVIEW: The sweet potato fries are fresh and unique. The special cuban sandwich was huge and delicious. You must also try their homemade spicy cilantro ranch dip!! The place was super clean, comfortable and gorgeous on the inside. Will visit Sams again!

MY REVIEW: I had their cheeseburger and my husband had their grilled chicken sandwich. We were very impressed with the quality of the food for the price. Loved the branding, with their logo, on the sandwich bun. We ordered 1 order of fries and they were nice and crispy.
They had samples of their coconut cream pie and chocolate pie for you to try. They were equally as good, wish I had had room for a slice! Will definitely go back!!

MY REVIEW: LOVED this place! My son had a burger and onion rings. I had the Southwest Salad. Fabulous!! The onion rings were amazing so was the sauce they served with them. Didn't indulge in the pies this time but I will be back and will definitely enjoy a piece of pie next time.

MY REVIEW: We liked the shake so much last time that we decided to come back for some holiday shakes to celebrate getting the tree up and having all the shopping done. My husband got a pumpkin pie shake, and I got peppermint with cookies and cream. Both were really excellent. The pumpkin one tasted exactly like pumpkin pie and even had bits of crust in it. The only thing I'd change is to add some fresh whipped cream on top. Good stuff. Nice quality food here.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I were coming home from Christmas shopping tonight and spotted this place, so we decided to give it a try and get an order to go. I ordered the turkey burger with Swiss cheese and avocado added, and my husband got the Angus burger. My turkey burger was great, a little bit spicy so it had a lot of flavor. All the veggies on it were very fresh and crisp. I love the little branded "S" on the bun - nice little touch. My burger was so big that I couldn't finish it. My husband loved his burger too. The fries were good, but the highlight was the peppermint shake we shared - so good! Seems like everything is homemade here, and the service was quick and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

MY REVIEW: Sam's has the best burgers I've ever tasted. I've been there several times and I've tried every burger - beef, turkey, and veggie. All amazing - I get the turkey burger when I want more of a spicy kick, but the basic beef burger is definitely my fave. My children love that the kid's burger is "just their size" - and I do, too, because we don't pay for a lot of food that doesn't get eaten. When I know I'm going to Sam's I make sure to work out at the gym so I can treat myself to a piece of pie (key lime is always my first choice) or a cookies-n-cream milkshake. We are always served promptly. And if I bring a bottle of red with me to enjoy with my burger, Sam always opens it for me with a smile!

MY REVIEW: I heard about the place and had to try. My wife had the turkey burger and I had the regular angus burger. My wife said that was the best turkey burger she had ever had. The angus burger was awesome as well with a juice factor of 10. The bun and all the veggies on the burger were very fresh. The bun had a S branded on it. Nice touch! We shared a piece of the blueberry pie and was so good we ordered one to go. Nice new place in the neighborhood. Will be back soon!

MY REVIEW: I really, really want to like this place....it's close to where I work and shop, and serves one of my classic favorite foods...burgers. Problem is, all three times I have been there, my complaint has been the burger. Relatively hard and not much flavor, it almost embarrasses the other components, super fresh bun, crisp cool lettuce, thick, crunch pickles. The onion rings have been extraordinary every time, and I understand the sweet potato fries are very good, too, so I'll probably be back, hopefully the burger will improve - maybe I'll ask for it to be not so well done next time and see how that turns out.
I've only sampled the pies, and they seem to be pretty good, but I've never been impressed enough to order a slice.

MY REVIEW: What has happened here? Our first few trips were really good. The burgers were good and the pies fantastic. Our latest trip was not so good.
When I opened the door, I was hit in the face with a strong smell of raw sewage! Yuck! We almost turned back it was so bad. We decided to press through and stay.
The burger was "tough". Is that even possible with hamburger? But it was! And so salty that I couldn't eat it. The fries were limp and cool. Not just "not hot" but actually colder than ambient temp!
Finally, the pie. My last hope. But no, the pumpkin pie was dry, cold and tasteless. Where's the spice? Not in this pie. Blah.

MY REVIEW: Burgers were big and juicy, bun slightly toasted, toppings fresh. I would have liked the bun toasted more. Chocolate pie was delicious and the meringue perfect. My wife had the lemon pie and it was ok, not great. Hand cut fries were fresh, not greasy and well done with small ones crunchy and large ones soft on the inside, just the way we like them. Wait seemed reasonable for a cooked-to-order burger and there was a steady crowd at 3 pm on Saturday afternoon. We will be back.

MY REVIEW: Heard good things & couldn't wait to try this new burger joint. Unfortunately, had eaten a big burger from a competitor's the night before so wanted lighter so I could have a piece of pie too. Got the special chili/cheese fries & while the chile was meaty & had fantastic flavor, it was WAY scimpy on the cheese. It seemed like they had put a cheese slice or 2 only on a layer of fries & then covered w/a layer of chili & smoothed it out. It was by far, the strangest looking way to have chili/cheese fries. It looked like they had forgotten something since I'm use to see a pile of fries w/ooey, gooey cheese & chili on top. When I asked the server if that was it, she said yes...hmmm. Ordered the pumpkin pie to balance the chili out (really wanted the key lime though) & it was delish! Will try again & this time go for the burger. My son had the angus w/bacon & cheddar & said as good as Sam's D*eli Diner or S*mashburgers, which we both love!

MY REVIEW: Cheeseburgers were good, but not really any better than B*eck's Prime, just down the road.
The place has all the ambiance of an airplane hanger.
I probably won't be going back.

MY REVIEW: The burgers were tasty, but I can't imagine waiting 45 minutes again for this "hole in the wall" type burger joint. High Quality beef and thick crunchy pickles were the highlights. The oversized and soggy bun from an overload of grease, were the low points. A pool of grease was in the basket.
The chips were interesting, the onions rings were thin and limp, best eaten with a fork.
The Pecan Pie was inedible, maybe it was an off night.
The ordering process is a mess and would fair better if there was a set burger menu. Considering the wait and "eh" factor of the overall dining experience I don't think we will be back.
