MY REVIEW: Finally made it up to the Woodlands to see Chef Aldo's restaurant there. We have been fans of his and followed him for 15 years. Two people had house salads and pasta entrees for lunch. Both the mezzaluna and ravioli were perfect! The cost of the lunch was half of what it would cost inside the loop. This is fine dining and the neighbors need to take advantage of what they have!

MY REVIEW: Okay if you have ever gone to one of Chef Aldo's restaurants in the past you will not be disappointed at all with this creation. One of the best places in Houston and blows away everything in The Market Square.

Shared the Insalada consisting of fresh sliced tomatoes with mozzarella, basil and lightly drizzled with an outstanding sauce. For the entrees we had rack of lamb and pasta with wild boar. The lamb with goat cheese and fig was visually appealing and my wife commented that it was outstanding. I am not a big pasta eater but the boar got my attention which is why I ordered it. Not disappointed at all with the outcome, sauce was tasty but not overwhelming. The wild boar chunks which I really focused on were tender, similar to roast, and delicious as well.

Our service was top notch with a visit from Aldo's partner and even Aldo himself. Our waiter mentioned that they would be introducing more wild game in the future which Chef Aldo seemed to specialize in the past and we cannot wait. Well worth the drive for Houston foodies and a must visit for folks on the northside. We will be back!
