Happy Fatz

MY REVIEW: A quaint little spot for gourmet hot dogs and sweets. Dogs are 100% beef and they have a nice selection of custom dogs to order. You can also make your own custom dog. Did not care for the cole slaw as it is not mayonnaise based, like the cole slaw I grew up with in Texas. It's vinegar based and not appealing to my tastes. Stick with the potato chips. Plenty of sweets offered including cake balls, cake slices and pies. Ambiance is quaint with art on the walls and frilly decorations throughout. Not a place to take the guys to watch the game and have a beer. More of a family place with a quaint Heights atmosphere.

MY REVIEW: Well, I wouldn't know. On the recommendation of friends, I decided to try this new restaurant. I went yesterday (10/24) and after parking, someone leaving the front porch said -- they're closed on Mondays. Disappointed, I left. Today I went again. This time I parked in the disabled parking spot and went up the long ramp to the restaurant only to find that they are closed on Tuesdays too. Seriously -- in the 4th largest city in the US, you're closed on Monday AND Tuesday. They could be giving them away -- I won't waste my gas again!
