Furr's Fresh Buffet

MY REVIEW: Strong point: There is a lot to choose from. There are probably 8 tables total - salad, pasta, Mexican food, veggies, fresh rolls, meats, desserts. The variety is great.

Weak points: There were so many people hoarding the buffet when we went (8:00 pm last Saturday night) that the buffet was in dire need of help. Many things were totally gone and the buffet itself was dirty. There were plenty of workers restocking things, but there were also a ton of people at the buffet at any given time, and it was as though they just couldn't keep up. The restaurant was dirty, with food on the floor and stray napkins, utensils, etc. strewn about. The quality of the food is not great. The best things I ate (and I tried several things) were the fried okra, the rolls, and the coconut shrimp.

Price is not too bad. My husband, myself, and my daughter ate for $29 total.

If they could clean this place up, it would be better.

MY REVIEW: This was our first visit and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. There was a large salad bar, dessert bar and ice-cream and yogurt bar with all the toppings (yum).The food was hot and so many different choices and they had a grill that had sausage (which was hot but real good) steak (which was soooooooo tender and tasty) and chops. Also had muffins, rolls, soup. You could make your own tacos (the taco meat was very tasty). All in all this is a great place to eat. We went at 4:00 and it was crowded the bill for two seniors with one drink was $22, but it maybe cheaper for lunch. We will be back.Servers kept the food bars cleaned up at all times and very friendly.
