Cafe Taraiz

MY REVIEW: We've been here twice. Both times the food was excellent. The owner/manager is very welcoming and was very welcoming of our 2 year old. This time we got the appetizer trio - we chose Hummus (YUM), Kibe (our son loves this), and Falafel. I had the Gyro, which was wonderful - really like the potatoes that come with it - and my husband had fish, which he enjoyed.

We both had a piece of baklava. We will be back again.

MY REVIEW: Excellent and very authentic middle eastern food! Desserts are very good too! Clean and friendly service. I enjoyed eating there. :-)

MY REVIEW: Great restaurant. It seems Pearland is full of garbage chain restaurants and people are just fine with that. However, Cafe Taraiz brings a breath of fresh air to the community. It is nice to go into a place that has great food and atmosphere. I like not having some kid who doesnt have a clue about the menu giving me his opinion. Ms. Taraiz goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Her food is amazing. Veggie lasagna is awesome and the falafel is great. Being a vegetarian and desiring fresh wholesome food in Pearland is always difficult but this cafe makes it better.

MY REVIEW: You have no idea how long I have waited for Taraiz to open a cafe. I have missed her brownies for so many years. My wife and I have been trying to make time to visit and finally did this weekend. Taraiz is as friendly as ever and will practically bend over backwards to make your stay an enjoyable one. I took one look at the specials for the day and ordered her lasagna. My wife is a vegetarian and she loves the pimento cheese sandwich. She also ordered one of the daily soups. The food was very good as we expected and the brownie ala mode was just how I remembered. We will return and we will be regulars. Thanks for opening. You are one of the top restaurants in Pearland.

MY REVIEW: Great addition to Pearland. Good food - Taraiz is back better than ever with expanded great menu selections.

There is something for everyone. The Oreo Pie is the best, or the key lime pie. Oh, just try it all!

MY REVIEW: I went in there for lunch on Thursday with my toddler son to meet up with some friends. We had a wonderful time. Everyone there is so friendly, it's very kid-oriented, and the food was delicious. My son's meal was prepared and brought out early so that he could enjoy it while I visited with friends. He loved the mac and cheese. I had the chicken salad on croissant and it was to die for. I now know why it comes highly recommended. The broccoli-cheese soup was very good. My son had a kid sized ice cream (he was tickled pink that it came with chocolate sauce on top) and a friend and I split the Oreo dessert. That dessert was amazing. Parking was very easy, every thing was super clean. I think one of the things that impressed my son the most is that there was a stool in the bathroom so that he could wash his hands by himself. It's a very nice and friendly place where you can be greeted and chat with other patrons or be off to the side by yourself for quiet if you prefer. There really is something for everyone there. We saw several to-go orders placed while we were there and the service was super fast. I am already planning my repeat trips back.

MY REVIEW: I tried this new restaurant out Monday for lunch and came back today for dinner because the food is amazing. The food is yummy and so different than the other food we have in Pearland. I had hummus and a shawarma and tonight I had a kabob. The dessert was really good they had an ice cream thing with oreo's that is to die for. Seriously, I may go back just for that.
