MY REVIEW: This is absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever been too. The service was beyond slow. We should have left after we had to hunt down our own menus!! Our waiter could have cared less about serving cold drinks or warm food and he wasn't even clued in to the menu. He preferred to smoke cigarettes at the bar. We were in the mood for cold beer and good crawfish. We got cold beer, poor service, bad food, and over-charged. We got there near the end of happy hour and were told a pitcher of beer would be five bucks. I think the people at the bar looked like they were having fun but I won't go back for anything

MY REVIEW: First time. Went on Saturday afternoon. The place is like a free for all....not organized....no one directing traffic. Got waited on, finally and placed our order. Two hours later we finally got the other half of the order. The oysters were warm and they looked like a bomb went off on them. The philly steak was good and so was the crawfish. Bottom line is that it took way too long to get the food and zero management.

MY REVIEW: I frequent Jackie's Brickhouse, usually to have a few drinks late evening... However my wife and I had dinner there this past Saturday, 04/02/11 and I must admit the food was great and the servings were ample. I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had the chicken alfredo, which I must say tasted even better then the chicken fried steak which wasn't bad. We also had potato skins as an appetizer and the were delicious. Our friends had the nachos, they were awesome. All in all...really good food. And the waitstaff are the best, second to none. Brandy waits on us every time we visit...and she did such a fantastic job our first visit that we request her every time and she never let's us down. Overall...GREAT PLACE TO EAT AND DRINK....

MY REVIEW: 1st visit, not good, waited forever to place order, waited forever to get food.

Ordered nachos and way too salty and the chips were burnt and no beans on the nachos????????????????? Only had overcooked cubes of beef with salty cheese sauce and salty guacamole. I told the waitress but she just shrugged me off as if she did not care. She just said, really...... Will not return.

MY REVIEW: To be honest weve been sitting here waiting for our food for the last 45 minutes so I can't comment on the quality of food. I do know all the tables surrounding us were having the same problem with unreasonably long wait. The most appalling thing was that we had oysters on the half shell in our order, but it took them 35 minutes to let us know they had run out meaning they hadn't even looked at our ticket until 35 minutes later. It would be more understandable had they let us know that they had run out immediately, after all how long doesn't take to shuck oysters?

We actually did get our food as I was writing thus review and most of it was cold. The food was pretty mediocre with the exception of the crawfish which was pretty good. The wings were definitely oversalted. Overall I would not come back again unless i was on death row an was stalling for time, having my last meal here would give me a good extra 5 years (because the service sucks)

MY REVIEW: Was hoping for vast improvements on this juke joint, since it's previous lifeforms of H*eads & Tails and C*rawdaddys were questionable at best. The waitstaff still seems like they've been hanging out with Jeff Spiccoli, but they try if you can make eye contact. Food is MUCH improved...wings, club sandwich, queso...bar food, but hey, sometimes you gotta have it! They have done a great job with remodeling the inside. It was like Carlsbad Caverns before. Keep on new owners...best of luck!

MY REVIEW: Service used to be horrible and food mediocre, but under new owners the food and service has improved dramatically. I have eaten at Jackie's now several times, and the food was consistently delicious and service satisfactory. My husband and I will eat at this place (new and improved) regularly.
