MY REVIEW: This place is amazing. I've been visiting their original location (only open sat-sun) for years but was excited to hear that they opened a 2nd location and it's open 7 days a week. Restaurant is family owned and they sure do make you feel like you're part of the family. Always with a smiling face, the service is great.
The food....they have by far the best pupusas in houston!!!! They are not greasy like others I have tried and the flavor of the pork, beans, and cheese mix is to die for. They have some variety of salvadorian food like tamales de elote, tamales de gallina, pan de gallina, and many others. They also have this amazing cream based shrimp soup...OMG it's by far THE best soup i've ever had + they have this AMAZING ceviche that even my bf loves to eat (and he is not a fish person! lol) he loves their TORTAS + their salvadorian enchiladas. Also, they sell many mexican dishes with their own twist on it.
If you're thirsty, they have one of THE BEST MICHELADAS i've ever had with the spicy ones being THE BEST (IMO..I'm a spice lover!!!). You can choose to have your normal domestic bottled beers + some imported beers that include pilsener, suprema, and regia (some of the beers from el salvador).
All in all....you cannot go wrong with this place!!
