Pho Real Vietnamese Restaurant

MY REVIEW: This place is one of the best Pho spots in town. I have been eating Pho for many years so I know what good Pho should tast like. The soup it self is great but the catch is the beef they use.

Its very thinly slised and has no fat, I usually order the filet mignon cuts. Note: most pho shops use the cheapest possible meat they can find! This place does not, they use the best.

Pho is an art actually. It takes many years of experiance to get down the receipy. So do your self a favor and stop in to try theirs.

Having said that, I dont eat the pho in the summer time for the obvious reasons. Its to darn hot here in Houston for that!! My only complaint is they dont serve the Vietnamese sandwiche, so im trying to talk them into making it :)

I have been eating the C2 plate for the last few weeks. I tell you this you gotta try this thing.

Lastly, its a family operated joint and these folks are the best. The place has good food and good service so give them a shot. you gotta support these folks because there really is not too many great places to eat around here...

MY REVIEW: I was hoping for a good Vietnamese sandwich, but no luck. So, I'll try the pho. Everyone was eating it like it was going out of style, so at the last minute, I tried the Vietnamese "hot and sour" seafood soup. This is not thickened with cornstarch, and has a nice kick. I added some egg noodles (mi) into the soup. I also added an order of the chicken spring rolls. The chicken was prominent in each bite, and was quite fresh. All the mandatory sauces are either served, or available on the table.

I'll be back to try the rice and noodle dishes. The place smells wonderful, the wait staff are wonderful too. AND it is close.
