Sno Dreamz Snoballs

MY REVIEW: This is an authentic New Orleans style snoball stand. Some places in Houston that claim to serve snoballs just offer the usual snow cones but there's a difference in the texture of the ice and this place has the correct machine to produce the right texture. They're much better than snow cones unless you are hooked on chewing on ice.

There are several dozen flavors with toppings like crushed fruit and add-ins including of course cream - aka condensed milk - which makes them a lot like ice cream. They have a few Mexican flavors including tamarind, horchata and dulce de leche and a small number of sugar free.

They also have a small number of snacks in addition to the icy treats including New Orleans' favorite pickled pigs lips, chili, and a frito pie.

It's a walk up stand with no indoor facilities but there are a couple of tables under umbrellas outside.

In this heat, they're doing a booming business.
