MY REVIEW: I usually come here every sunday to eat their baleadas especiales which are so delicious!! I think everyone should try them, they are the best.

The staff is very friendly and have fast service.

I will definitely recommend this place to others.

MY REVIEW: This is a new Honduran restaurant that opened up near me and it’s quite good. The best taco frito (like an oversized taquito) and pastelito (like an empanada) I’ve had, the latter with a spicy beef and rice filling and the former with chicken. Chips are fresh and hot; sometimes you get tortilla chips, sometimes banana or plantain chips with a mild, fresh salsa. An icy glass of maracuya (passion fruit juice) sure hit the spot on a sweltering day.

I tried the Sopa de Caracol, a sea snail soup with plantain, bananas verdes and coconut milk, one of the weekend specials. I’d go for the soup again just for the broth but I’m not sure I care for sea snail, it was only the dark meat portion and rather tough. I’ve just had conch once before and it was even tougher. Other weekend special soups include menudo and mondongo, both of which include tripe and cow’s foot; the mondongo is also made with coconut milk.

It’s a kind of homey place; the staff has been very friendly, unlike some other Honduran restaurants in town. They don’t speak perfect English but they try real hard to communicate and please and they know their way around a kitchen. The jukebox has only been obtrusive on a couple of tunes but it’s not on all the time. I’m kind of hoping they don’t get too popular or the jukebox will probably be blaring more of the time. They’ve just added pupusas I think and there’s lots more on the menu to try.

I'm really glad to have this one so close to me and it may be the best Honduran food in town and the best service.
