Fiesta Charra Mexican Restaurant

MY REVIEW: This my favorite local restaurant, and I go probably 10-12 times/per yr. Lovely decor and great live music on Thurs. and Saturday nights (not sure about Fridays). The food is always fresh, tasty and the portions are huge. The owner always comes over to personally greet me, which I welcome. I've never had a bad meal here, and the Happy Hour ritas pack a punch ($1.99). This is the perfect place for our neighborhood, which is just minutes away. Am so glad they chose this location!

MY REVIEW: Went with the wife during what I thought was happy hour yesterday. We had 4 margaritas. When we got the bill it was for $18 instead of the happy hour price of $8. Was told they had just changed their happy hour policy where it is now only Monday thru Friday and was stuck with the $18 bill. Will not go back. The cheap drinks compensated for the overpriced entrees in the past. They should have made it clear of the change and since they did not only charge me the happy hour price under the previous policy.

MY REVIEW: Fiesta Charra is great...from the food to the servers to the decor. The fajitas Tex Mex are delicious. The meat is seasoned perfectly, and their tex mex topping on the sizzling fare does it just right. Will be trying enchiladas and burritos soon...if I can sway away from the fajitas! They offer happy hour margaritas at $1.99. But they have a full bar so you can get anything you like. This is now our favorite local mexican restaurant because they make you feel like family, the food is terrific, the service is great, the restaurant is very clean (unlike others around).
