MY REVIEW: I used to be a regular weekly customer at 168 until tonight. I ordered at 5:30 a dinner for my husband and a small soup and two egg rolls for my dinner. An hour later they came and forgot my egg rolls they said they would redeliver. Forty minutes later no egg rolls. After calling again they subsequently told me they claimed they packed them so I can only assume they were planning on doing nothing at this point. I assured them they didn't deliver the egg rolls and the driver even checked in his car. I wanted to know the status of my rolls and how long it would take all they said was we are busy. Never an I am sorry this happened or admitting to screwing up! Two hours roll by and still no rolls!!! I go in to get my money back because I am raging at this point my night and dinner ruined. Never did i get am sorry an admittance to screwing up and I got attitude for asking for my money back.
Will be ordering from H*unan Hut point forward!!!

MY REVIEW: Since they opened, we have ordered to go from this place at least once a week. Everything we've had has been delicious. Still high on my like list is their steamed veggies with sauce (our preferred is garlic). New favorites: kung pao tofu (tofu cubes beautifully fried), Hunan shrimp (shrimp and veggies in tasty spicy-ish dark sauce), sweet and sour shrimp (nice large battered shrimp with standard s&s sauce on the side), mushu anything. Very nice people, and great bonus deals (order >$30 and get a free lunch-size chicken dish, etc.).

MY REVIEW: Excellent food and very pleasant service in a nice neighborhood restaurant. Prices are very reasonable with good portions. Food was fresh and tasty, from the soup to the egg rolls to the entrees--chicken and steamed seafood was very good. Though I had dinner, the lunch specials look to be a deal, at $6.50, if you are in the area. I did not see beer or alcohol on the menu nor in the restaurant--perhaps you could BYOB, which would make for an added bonus--good question for the restaurant before going if you enjoy a cold beer or wine....Recommend and will go back again.

MY REVIEW: I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviews. I tried the Kung Pao Chicken and a friend tried General Tso's chicken. We were both very pleased with the taste, texture and appearance of the dishes. I took menus to the office for my co-workers. I recommend this restuarant and definitely will return. I wish the owner(s) good luck, hope they are successful!

MY REVIEW: Tasty Chinese food! Huge Portion!
I thought this is one of those fake Chinese restaurant but they actually do serve real Chinese food if you order it from the Chef's Special Page. I had Spicy Fish and Mango Chicken, and I loved both dishes.
Their service was also excellent!
I am definitely coming back in the future!

MY REVIEW: Previously, two Mexican restaurants inhabited the space that this Chinese restaurant has now. I sincerely hope this neighborhood place sticks around! This is authentic San Francisco style Chinese food. We got take out, so I can't comment on decor (the place was very clean) and service. But the food was great!
Those of you who dislike wonton soup because it's boring - just broth and dumplings - need to try the house wonton soup. The individual serving is $2 more than the plain wonton soup ($2.50), but it comes packed full of delicious veggies (carrots, bok choy, spinach, mushrooms) and meat (shrimp, beef) and SO worth it! First time since I moved away from SF that I have had this wonderful soup - YAY!
We also tried the hot and sour soup (very good), Szechuan bean curd with minced beef (wonderful), and General Tso's chicken (excellent). They also have steamed veggies with your choice of sauce (dark, wine, or garlic - we got the yummy garlic) - a massive cut above the standard, boring veggies-in-white-sauce at most other places. Most items are under $10 and the serving sizes are generous. We will keep coming back as long as they stay there!
