Pho Tung Hai

MY REVIEW: excellent spring rolls, good peanut sauce (i would have liked a little chili sauce in it but was good even without), very good vermicelli bowl. would have had a sandwich but they were out of bread. very busy place and a little small, so if you're going to lunch get there early. i will be back!

MY REVIEW: I have found a new restaurant home in Houston. I am an out of towner. I travel much for business and always seek out hidden gems in the citires I visit. I found one in Houston in Pho Tung Hai. The owners were extremely nice and friendly and helpful. The Pho soup is the best I ever had with fresh basil that brings out the flavor. The portions of the entrees werer large and very well priced. Top off a dinner with an avocado smoothie!! It sounded strange to me, but it was FANTASTIC!! I cannot wait until my return to the Houston area to visit my favorite restaurant again. This is a must stop for any food lover that loves the variety of food from different cultures.

MY REVIEW: This place is always busy and the food is delicious. I love that their services. I've been to so many different Vietnamese Restaurant all my life but this one is the best restaurant ever. I have tried almost everything on their menu and everything were always so great. They also do CATERING, I've recommended to my boss and after that my boss always used them for our monthly meetings. Everyone in my office loves this place too. The only bad thing is, this place is hidden and it's hard to see from I-45 freeway.

MY REVIEW: We accidentally ran into this place when our car broke down, we used their parking lot and found out this place so we decided to give it a try. Wow, all I could say is super delicious foods. We loved their sandwiches and Home-made ice coffee with condensed Milk, my wife loved their Mango smoothie & Rocking Beef dish. The foods were so delicious and the service was awesome. We definitely will be back soon.

MY REVIEW: We love this place because of their great foods and excellence services. I recommend their Rocking Beef and Phoenix Noodle. Both of these dishes are the best I have ever tried anywhere else. My mouth is watering when I'm thinking about it hehehe ... I also love their house special ice coffee with condensed milk. Love it so much.

MY REVIEW: My partner, step-daughter, and I went here for an early dinner and it was great! The service was really great and the sandwiches are even better. This restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere is very nice!

MY REVIEW: This is one of N. Houstons best kept secrets! Easy to get to, and the food is outstanding. I have eaten both lunch and dinner. Two MUST TRY's: The "Bahn Mi" Vietnamese sandwiches for lunch, and the "Bahn Socola Nuong" white chocolate bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. This is one of the BEST dessert's I have ever had!!! Thumbs up from me.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I love this place. The food is yummy; service friendly and helpful; restaurant is clean and well kept. Katie is a jewel and everyone tries to please and make your visit a wonderful experience. They are happy to answer any questions that you might have. The menu is small, but they plan to expand the menu over time. We hope more people will discover this jewel. It's so nice to have a Yummy Vietnamese Restaurant in our own backyard.

MY REVIEW: I love this place. I took a group of 8 people last night and we were treated like royalty. We all love Viet food and usually go downtown to get the best but no more. This place meets all our requirements. Great service and great food.

It's not that big a place but very clean and the way they prepare and serve the food is awesome. I am ready for more and will be back real soon.

MY REVIEW: I had Lunch at Pho Tung Hai, 12519 North Fwy today. Service was excellent, Spring rolls both pork and shrimp very fresh and tasty. Fried egg rolls very crisp , great fillings, we were served House special sauces , Fish and several others , All very good.

I had the Won Ton Soup Bowl , Broth very light,Won tons plump and great tea sting. Other two in party had the House Special bowl, with Rice noodles, chicken,pork and seafood (Shrimp and calamari)

Price was more then reasonable.

We will certainly go back . This is a jewel. Recommend it to all who like Vietnamese Food. They also have Vietnamese sandwiches, Rice plates and Fried Rice Plus drinks and other foods/
