MY REVIEW: This was my third time at Pampa Grill, let me start this review by telling you that I do not like to dine at the same place more than two times, like most of people that come to this website I share a passion for food, therefore instead of going to the same place over and over, I always like to try new places to compare their quality, sometimes I can be very critic when it comes to food. Pampa Grill and Market is one of those few places that I keep coming back, and the question is why, what is so different here, well everywhere around town we will see highly recognized chain restaurants but it seems to me like everything taste the same or the food is not prepared with care, here at Pampa they want you to leave the place satisfied, and although I'm not a meat lover the entrana here seems to be my favorite, so tender, so juicy, wow! I'm hungry already!bit for those who can't stand the meat, there is several other choices like milanesas and salads that I'm sure can satisfied everybody's appetite, when it comes to dessert, America's favorite I'm usually too full and do not even order any, until I try the Tres Leches here, once I start with my Tres Leches here my family knows that I will not share and nobody can talk to me until I'm done and last but not least, the service here is outstanding, they will make you feel like you are the only customer there. I'm sure you will love this place.

MY REVIEW: What a terrible experience.

Whoever in a previous review compared this place to F*ogo must have been on an LSD trip.

I lived in South America for many, many years, and have eaten in many outstanding Argentine restaurants, as well as Brazilian, Colombian, etc. We went tonight based on the reviews. I am used to eating Bife de Chorizo, Churrasco Cuadril and all the various empanadas and other delicious treats you find in Buenos Aires.

I ordered Bife de Chorizo cooked medium. It was like a piece of overcooked shoe leather. I tried two bites and left it alone after that. You would think the waitress might have asked if there was a problem? No, she just wanted to know if I wanted it boxed to go home. I wouldn't have fed it to my dog, so we declined. Perhaps the previous posters don't know Argentine food. I do, and while their empanadas were acceptable, the rest of the meal was not.

MY REVIEW: WHAT A FIND !!!

I live about 2 minutes from this place and have gone by countless times wondering what it was like. Wife was out of town so I said what the heck and WHAT A TREAT.

BEST CHEAP STEAK IN HOUSTON and I'd put their meat (at least the one steak I tried) up against any at F*OGO at a fraction of the price. For $12.95 it came with two sides, chimmichuri sauce and the best homemade bread I have had in a very long time. I had one of their empenadas and it was as good as any I have had here OR in South America.

I was too stuffed for dessert but took home their flan with caramel sauce. I only had a bite but wow-wow-wow!!!

Try this place and I promise you will not be disappointed.

MY REVIEW: I found this hidden gem after reading the Houston press. I am officially hooked! When you first sit down they take your drink order and come back with some delicious fresh baked bread with butter. The first time i ate here i decided to get the parrillada, its basically a grilled platter full of different cuts of meat. The meat is grilled to perfection. The only thing i did not like was the chicken. Maybe the reason why was that we ate all the beef first and saved the chicken till the end. By that time it was like eating chicken jerky. They also allow you to substitute different meats on the parrillada. This platter can feed 2 to 3 people easily, my brother and I devoured this dish along with 2 beef empanadas. The empanadas are light, fluffy, not heavy, delicate, flaky, and great! If i'm looking for something smaller but still hearty and delicious i settle with the entrana. My son loves the ham and cheese empanada and the tres leches. I do not speak spanish, but i know enough to get by. I believe i read that they have caramel pancakes with ice-cream? Only thing on the menu i havent tried! Try this place out you'll thank me later.........

MY REVIEW: The food was great! Service very accommodating. The most authentic Argentine dining I have had outside Buenos Aires. Do not let the location fool you, this is great food. Relaxed atmosphere reminds me of the cafes in BA. The pizza is off menu but very good!

MY REVIEW: We love it!

No other place in Houston cooks "the argentinian way" like these guys do, empanadas, matambre relleno, tortilla a la espaƱola and milanesas are our favorites, we do recommend it to all our friends.

MY REVIEW: They usually do an excellent job with their steaks. I'm a fan of sweet breads (mollejas) but sometimes they char them too much. Also the cuts they start with are not tender like I get in Buenos Aires. Still they have good food. The colorful chimichurri on all the tables is excellent and the green one is pretty good too. Their empanadas are tasty and a good value. I did not care for their morcillas (blood sausage) and the vegetables are the ones from a frozen package; fries and salad are better side options. You can bring your own wine - the corkage fee is very cheap - I think two dollars. I've never seen more than 3 tables at a time there but they are fairly new.

MY REVIEW: I decided to visit this place after reading the great reviews. My kids (picky eaters) tried the meat empanadas and loved them. We had the parrida which is more than plenty for two carnivours and my other son had the milanesa that comes with plenty of french fries and two fried eggs.

The restaurant is very clean and with great ambiance. The lady and man (I guess owners) are very gracious to cater to the customers' need.

I will return to this place this coming weekend.
