MY REVIEW: The parking does suck. I understand the meat market has limited parking---during business hours, but, when I arrived, they'd been closed for hours. Surely, some accomodation can be reached. Now, inside, the staff was very pleasant. The crawfish bread was as amazing as I'd read. I had the blueberry lemonade. I found it to be too thick, as I see another diner said---but tasty. I also had the seafood gumbo & the curried shrimp po'boy. Now, I've lived in Houston all my life. If I get boiled or fried shrimp, I expect to remove the tails, because I'm already handling the shrimp. I grew up eating gumbo in Houston. I am not accustomed to having to dig the shrimp out of my gumbo or my po' boy, to remove the tails. Gumbo, po'boys, etoufee, creole, etc, should be chewing-ready. I realize I might have asked afterward, if this was a norm, but I think they might have asked 'tail on or tail off?'
I'm ambivalent about returning. The gumbo & sandwich were delicious (after I removed the tails), but, if I do, I'm going to stipulate 'tails off'.

MY REVIEW: My first visit to this place was not great, typical bad attitude staff with no customer service skill, the food was bland and some of it look like it came out of the microwave. We did not even bother to finish eating our food. I would not recommend this place at all.

MY REVIEW: THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!..i dont even know where to start. Actuallu i do know. The parking sucks!!..such a pity that the g*uys meat market doesnt mess around with the towing. Jealousy!. Obviously the reviewer(business 101) below works for g*uys.
ANyhoo..beaucou is amazing!! got the shrimp po boy n it was lovely..bread is soft and the shrimps are huge!!. My friend ordered the crawfish bread as an appetizer and that was excellent. We tried the stawberry passion...really good but very sweet. 2 people can buy one and split. I mixed mine with water and it was still sweet. Overall a great place...very cozy.

MY REVIEW: First, the food. I'm not a crawfish fan or even a seafood fan but the crawfish bread was amazing. Cheesy, creamy and sitting atop a toasted baguette this is pure comfort food. The open faced pot Roast sandwich was also a top note. Perfectly tender and moist it may be a bit pricey but I forgot all about that after the first bite. But the crown jewels were the Beaucoup house blend wings. There really is no need for the hot sauce. They beat any wing in this town.
Second, some administrative notes. Yes the parking situation sucks. Deal with it. Personally I went there for the food. And to the above commenter, order at the counter next time.

MY REVIEW: not much going on here. food was ok at best, but nothing to write home about. No parking and according to the sign in the foyer the business next door is "Not Friendly". Was told that meant because beaucoup had limited parking they can't use next door's parking spaces. Sounds reasonable to me. If you are going to open a business, make sure you have the parking to go with it. Besides, if you are a new kid on the block, don't start trouble with the established business'. Business 101! I even went next door (G*uy's Meat market). That place had it going on! BBQ was great! Bought a few steaks while there. Can't believe I overlooked this place. It has been in and around Houston since 1938! This location for over 50 years! I asked them about the parking issue, they said nothing negative about the place, other than they are so busy that they can't give up parking for next door.

MY REVIEW: One word..."Fantastic". Myself and a couple of my co-workers went there for lunch this past week and were overwhelmed by the experience. Everything we had was stellar, from the Brennan Sampler (wings 3-ways, egg rolls, spinach & artichoke dip, + the most delicious crawfish bread), to the gumbo, pot roast sandwich and shrimp po-boy. All was outstanding! And did I mention their tasty homemade flavored lemonades. My compliments to the the chef and staff for the wonderful job they do at Beaucoup. We are already planning a return trip from Clear Lake.

MY REVIEW: After sampling the awesome Crawfish Bread at the Houston Rodeo's Best Bites Competition, we were excited to try out the restaurant. We went there for lunch. The parking lot is small, 10 spaces max. Once we walked in the door, we were handed menus and seated ourselves. Once seated, to our dismay we were ignored for the next 15 minutes. After being ignored, we left since our lunches are only an hour. The service was non-existent. The decor looked haphazardly installed - from the speaker in the closet to the poor paint job. Take out might be the better option with this restaurant.
