Que Nada Coffee Bar & Cafe
408 20th St, Galveston, Texas 77550
MY REVIEW: I love coffee. I used to work in central Houston and thus enjoyed a greater variety of coffee places than what is present in Galveston. I tried a number of the other places but found myself disappointed that they couldn't make a real cappuccino, Nada opened back when it was cold and I found they have nice warm drinks (I have yet to try any alcoholic beverages but they seem to have a decent selection) so I started to try them. I was not disappointed. The coffee is great the atmosphere is really nice and warm. The deserts are really good too.
The only complaints are the deserts are great, but there really aren't any snacks for those of us who aren't "big-into-sweets". I'd like a croissant or maybe even a bagel? But I go for the coffee, which is good. Oh, and next door is a new cafe (co-owned?) and its got great tacos and tortas!

MY REVIEW: This Coffee bar is a jewel tucked away in Galveston---even though it is near the strand the ambiance is quite and friendly. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Ruth the manager is always quite the hostess, giving suggestions if your not quite sure what you want with many various types of coffees and desserts! Can not wait till the restaurant opens!
