Tacos La Bala

MY REVIEW: Wonderful taqueria. Great sauces, fantastic tacos. My favorite is the lengua with cilantro and onion. Worth the trip. Clean, fast and friendly.

MY REVIEW: I had been looking for a good Taqueria near work to try, but was not familiar enough with the area. I finally found this place mentioned in the Houston Press, so I went there for lunch today. The service was great. They have a window that you can walk up to and place your order. The place was so busy that they give you a buzzer to let you know when your order is ready. It took about 10 minutes for my order to get ready. The tacos were great, every thing was so fresh. I ordered 2 chicken tacos and a beef fajita tostada. I got my tacos with flour tortillas. The taco was a basic taco with small chunks of chicken breast that tasted well seasoned and marinated and the taco was loaded with onions and cilantro which I love. Add their red or green sauce to the taco and you are set. I got the tostada with everything on it which includes a little lettuce,avocado slice,a little sour cream and white cheese. The food was cheap and tasted great. I highly recommend this place if you want more authentic tasting Mexican food.
