MY REVIEW: My husband and I tried this restaurant again. The first time was awful but he wanted to give it another chance. AWFUL again!! We tried the special of the day, blackened redfish. But it was dry, tough and tasted fishy. Our daughter tried the grilled chicken poboy but it was also dry. Forget it. Never again. They shouldn't offer a special unless they can do it justice. Don't waste your time or money. It was an expensive mistake.

MY REVIEW: Zachary's is AWESOME. Owner and staff are always awesome when I'm there. Good ole fashion comfort food with a kick. My wife and I always look for an opportunity to go there when we can. My wife loves the Jambalaya, I usually go for the Roast Beef Po-Boy w/Debris gravy. The wings and the boudan balls are killer. The owner really knows his business well and he aims to please. Good music with live bands from time to time. Makes me wanna say Aiiiieeee!!!

MY REVIEW: I am a cajun food lover, and this food does not disappoint! I am not a native cajun, but have tried several varieties of gumbo/poboys/etoufee etc. This food is authentic and you can tell that they take a lot of pride in their recipes. The gumbo roux is right on, and the fried alligator... WOW!!! I highly recommend this restaurant, and will become a regular. It was my first time to try Abita beer, and it goes PERFECTLY with the food! I am so HAPPY that we FINALLY have a real cajun restaurant in my neck of the woods!

MY REVIEW: The place is very clean, staff friendly. The food is good but the menu items are limited. The bartender suggested an item not on the menu. It was a pasta dish served with a chicken breast, crawfish tails, shrimp in a spicy cream sauce. My wife and I split it and I had enough for lunch the next day. The price was 14:95 which to me seemed fair. It's a great place to enjoy a beer after fighting traffic out of Houston.(1.50 draft from 4-7) The Boudain balls are great. I hope it survives. It does have potential.

MY REVIEW: Really hoped this place would be good - hard to find good cajun, but it is just "OK". Shrimp dinner OK, but a little on the skimpy side. Dessert is good but at least twice what other places would charge for it.
We usually stop by for "snacks" - boudin balls and beer. -

MY REVIEW: The ambience was good and people friendly and attentive, but overall we were disappointed. We were happy to see the place open, but the menu is limited and the portions small. We had the seafood platter and there was only one small piece of catfish on it and not that many pieces on the shrimp and oysters. For the prices they charge, there should be more. Nothing is more disappointing in a new place than when they look chinchy. The green beans looked great, but they were so overloaded with garlic you could knock an elephant down. The hush puppies had a good flavor but weren't cooked all the way through. We don't plan to go back. We know what cajun food should be like, too.

MY REVIEW: We were very excited when this Cajun restaurant opened and have been there six times always hoping that it will get better. Unfortunately they do not serve enough food. My husband last ordered the catfish platter and it arrived with ONE catfish filet on it and plenty of brocolli (not to mention two tiny hush puppies). I ordered the crawfish platter and got a few small to tiny heavily breaded crawfish and plenty of brocolli plus two small hush puppies. This place is NOT cheap so a person should expect decent sized portions to a meal. They are like "kids plates" for adults. We have tried other things on their menu and have also been disappointed with the portions. We have decided not to return. It's an "easy fix" but it appears cost is a huge factor. I guess brocolli is cheap these days!! Hopefully they can turn this around because it would be nice to have a Cajun restaurant in this area. We used to live in Lafayette, LA and believe me no restaurant there would DARE serve a catfish platter with ONE catfish filet on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MY REVIEW: My husband and I tried this place for the first time today, excited to see a Cajun restaurant had opened in town. Hubby and I are both from Louisiana and know what good Cajun food is. If you're feeling homesick [They've even carry several Abita brews!] or you just love Cajun food, you'll definitely love both the food and ambience of this casual cafe. Not to mention, the service was terrific! We had gumbo and po'boys. The po'boy bread is amazing, tastes just like the bread from New Orleans (found out it actually comes from G*ambino's New Orleans ;-). We'll definitely be back and look forward to bringing our friends there as well.
