Fish Place and Seafood Cafe

MY REVIEW: After the new owners took oversome time this year, the food went totally terrible if not worse!!A piece of catfish has been sliced so thin and breaded so thick, you do not know what you are getting. I ordered grilled redfish and was served tilapia fillet,and was informed they did not serve redfish.

Yesterday, I tried them again. the coating was toooo spice, the redbeans were toooo spice, and the fish coating was toooo spice. There was very little catfish in the order of their LG 10 piece catfish, filleted way to small.

I have been going to the FISH PLACE since it started in the 1996 down in League City. I have NEVER had such BAD food at any of the other places.

I WILL NOT GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

MY REVIEW: Did you ever stop to think that maybe she was new or "in training"? Give people a break~ everyone has had to learn a new job @ least once in their life, unless your one of those that have had money handed to you & fed with a golden spoon. The entire staff is wonderful & if they are having new faces~ well just be patient. That could be your daughter that some one just bashed on a review & you wouldn't appreciate it!!!! They are there working because they need a job, not because they are bored!

MY REVIEW: The girl that took our order was no help in explaining the dishes and at times acted as if she was under the influence of something. We all had different meals and requested redfish and other fishes (other than catfish). Once we got home no matter if it was grilled or fried they gave all of us catfish. We requested extra seasoning and not one meal had seasoning. The kitchen staff was all talk and no cooking except for one guy who was distracted by the rest.

I love fish and will not return.

MY REVIEW: I must not have gone to the same Fish Place as these other people because my food was disgusting. The people that joined me for lunch agreed and they each ordered something different. Their silverware was dirty, it still had food on them and the restaurant itself is chaotic. You'd expect the sugar to be next to the iced tea, instead I had to go on a scavenger hunt to look for it. I ordered fish tacos and I couldn't believe the way they served them. The corn tortillas looked as if they had taken it them out of a package and just dumped everything in it and when they folded it, it split since they didn't bother to heat it up, definitely not worth what I paid for them! Their customer service isn't any better than their food! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE! It reminded me of something off of Kitchen Nightmares, I was expecting Chef Ramsey to come out cursing and closing the place at any moment...

MY REVIEW: Nice little gem. Great seafood gumbo, great platters. Will be back over and over. Place is a little small but worth the food quality and portion size.

MY REVIEW: Found this place about a month ago. Have been back 6-10 times. Great portions, great sides, love the green beans and jambalya the most. The tartar sauce is over the top. Have eaten from the fried menu and the grilled menu and haven't found anything I didn't enjoyed. Need something for a family gathering, they offer great family pack deals.

Some nights could use more space, but in general no problem finding a seat.

MY REVIEW: This place may be small but it packs a punch. I had the real battered oninon rings, fresh fried shrimp, excelent jambalya its spicy hot. They have by far the best shrimp gumbo I've had in a resurant. Down side is it's a small place.

Very lagre grilled menu. You can feed a family of five on the 25 piece to go order for 21.99
