MY REVIEW: The food was satisfactory, depending on what you order and the night you visit. It seems weekends are best? Service is their weak link! The waiters are energetic and courteous, but they get lost if they are serving more than 2 tables. They waiteresses seem to provide better service.

MY REVIEW: Food was ok, but service was lackadasical at best. We were the only table in the smoking section, and had to wave our arms to get attention. Several servers walked back & forth, but never saw us...??!! Finally caught the eye of the pregnant hispanic girl who seemed surprised and put out that we wanted more tea, and wanted to order something else. Waitress eventually came over and was able to take the order from us. The pregnant girl obviously had no training, and no customer service training or skills.

In this world of tough times, it's easy to get great customer service elsewhere.

MY REVIEW: Stopped in to this restrauant after reading a billboard on US59. We were not disappointed. The food was great, the prices were reasonable and the service was tremendous. We have already recommended this restaurant to several others and we will definitely go back again.

MY REVIEW: My family and I have dined at this local Porter favorite for many years and I highly recommend it. I am a fan of their chicken fried steak. My wife enjoys the bacon-wrapped shrimp and sweet potato fries. Their steaks are also very good. This restaurant still has the feel of a small-town East Texas steakhouse -- more often that not, the waitress will address you as “sweetie”.
