MY REVIEW: My friend and I went here on Friday, Nov.4 for a quiet dinner. Seated promptly. Frank was our waiter and his service was great. My complaint is this: my friend ordered her steak "medium". Three steaks later, they got it right. First two came back very bloody. By the time she finally got her steak correctly cooked, I was finished with my meal. Au gratin potatoes undercooked, asparagus dry, dessert mediocre - and all for a mere $200.00+.

Not going back.

MY REVIEW: Not real sure why anybody would go here on a regular basis. Their food is good, and they have a great wine list, but it seems very expensive. Two of us had 3 glasses of wine each, two entrees, shared two sides, and shared one dessert.....and paid over $225.00, then add $45.00 tip and $5.00 for valet and realized we spent $275.00.

It's good, but not great. When we spend almost $150 per person, we expect great. Am back to my opening statement. Why would anybody go here on a regular basis??

MY REVIEW: Great experience. Made an on-line reservation indicating it was our 40th anniversary. Received an e-mail response confirming the reservation. Staff was very attentive and provided exceptional service, acknowledging our anniversary. Kudos to Cody, our server. Food was wonderful and the proportions were just the right size. At the end of the meal, they sent us home with a box of house made truffles. Highly recommend for any special occasion.

MY REVIEW: Excellent food; great service. Strong points: everything our party of 8 had was absolutely delicious. Steaks cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Potatoes and green beans were also very good. The bread is to die for. I just wish they were open for lunch!

MY REVIEW: Ok, so I actually didn't even make it into the restaurant. I know fleming's well and love the food. So, this last weekend my wife and I wanted to get some fleming's to go and eat at home. The town & country location is pretty close to me and I was going to be in the area, so it was convenient. How wrong was I. Joey was the bartender who took my to go order. What a jerk. From the moment I started ordering, he had an attitude. I don't know what it was, but he obviously doesn't like taking to go orders or something. Everything I ordered, he was like "yeah, what else." I ordered two lobster tails, and his response was "two orders of twin lobster tails or two tails." Yeah, an order of lobster tails includes two tails. If joey would be quiet and listen to my order, there would be no question what I wanted. BTW, I've never heard them called "twin lobster tails" at other locations. He must be from o*utback, fleming's parent company. He then insisted I give my credit card number to "secure" the order. I told him I didn't want to give my credit card number, and I would be paying by gift card. His response - "This is how we take to go orders, is that a problem?" Wow. I expect this kind of attitude and service from a lesser place, not from fleming's.

I called back and asked for a manager, and asked him to cancel the order. I did not go into to detail with him about joey because I was so upset, just that he was very rude. The manager did not seem surprised. Great job, town & country.

I placed the exact same order at the river oaks location and everything was perfect.

I will continue to dine at the other locations in houston, but definitely not this one. If anyone else is going here, skip the bar.
