Allegria Wine & Cocktail Lounge

MY REVIEW: We stopped in at Allegria on our way home from an event downtown and had a wonderful time talking with Suzanne! We trusted her taste to find us wines we would like and once again she nailed it! I love the constantly updated and changing wine list instead of always finding the same ol' thing. This gives you an opportunity to try all kinds of new wines. We didn't have anything to eat this time since we'd just had a big dinner downtown, but we certainly enjoyed catching up with Suzanne!

MY REVIEW: I LOVE THIS PLACE. A very up-scale wine and cocktail lounge with a down-home feel. Warm friendly atmosphere paired with a very thorough wine list and good food. Unique wine tastings, dinner club, and live entertainment keep Allegria fresh and exciting.

MY REVIEW: This is a hidden gem. The wines are unique and reasonably priced.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s a great place to go with a group or just to go gossip with a girlfriend and enjoy a relaxing glass of wine. The owner, Suzanne, is very personable, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable on both food and wine pairings. She’s also an excellent cook. I can’t wait to go back!

MY REVIEW: I love this place! Very cozy..very intimate!..I've been to other wine bars in town..and Allegria seemed a lot more warm and inviting than any of the other places I've been to..Suzanne the owner has a very pleasant personality and she makes the best crab cakes and sweet potato fries you'll ever taste! Great wine selection! My girlfriends and I absolutely love Allegria!.I highly recommend everyone to check this place out..you won't regret it!

MY REVIEW: Place is very cozy, clean, and pleasant and very close to home. It was our first time going there after dinner. The owner is very knowledgeable about wine. We really enjoyed our time there. We've gone to the C*helsea Bar in El Lago, and the C*ork Wine Bar in Webster, but now that Allegria has opened, that we be our regular wine bar to frequent. Really love the decor!

MY REVIEW: This is a pleasant surprise in a strip center - don't be fooled by the exterior. Very nicely done in a cozy and intimate atmosphere, we were very impressed by the interior. A small, but select wine list, some beers, scotches and martinis with 3 - 4 appetizers on a revolving menu. The prices are very reasonable. There is seating at the bar, with comfortable bar stools, bistro tables, a cozy corner nook for those looking for some privacy and intimacy and several chairs and smalls sofas scattered about. A nice jazzy soundtrack - with live music to be forthcoming. Suzanne is generous with her "taste a bit" and pours a nice relaxed size glass of wine. We can't wait till the outside tables are set up and we can take our dogs with us to sit outside and enjoy!
