MY REVIEW: Neat little taco cafe' on 20th and Post Office. Tacos are really good. we had the barbacoa, machacado con huevo (beef with egg) and rajas con queso (poblano pepper with white cheese). My suggestion- use real machacado instead of beef fajita, cook the rajas more and peel the skin off to make a more tender poblano. The chef is really nice and the service is friendly. The place is really clean and nicely designed. Also try the adjacent coffee shop, a great place to sit quietly to read or check your email. We will be regulars whenever we need a good taco, good coffee and great conversation with some local folks. Thank you for making us feel right at home.

MY REVIEW: I work close by so this place is first on my list of places to go (even though its been around only a short time).
I must say the food is very, very good. Everything is clean, neat and orderly (making for a quick food line) and I like the meat varieties - its not just chicken, pork & beef like so many of the "taquerias - there are varieties of pork, chicken & beef (plus I think fish and shrimp)!! I have tried a number of the tacos and actually prefer the torta - in all its glory! Best I've had.
I'd recommend the chicken mole or pork cochinita (pardon my spelling) - those are my favorites.
I don't usually stay at the place to eat but I know the atmosphere is lively and neat so its a good place to do that if you don't take it back to your office. The lemonade is nice - I asked the staff and they make it fresh every day (go figure) like a lot of the stuff at Que Cafe its fresh - handmade!
I think they could be a tad less expensive when it comes to the tacos (maybe $1.50 a taco - unless you add extras to it)? I also think that a few of the "add-ons" are a tad too high. Parking can be tough during the mid-day rush, but its not to hard to figure out as most places in Galveston are actually harder to get to. I have yet to try the plantains - but I wish that was a side on all the dishes - I will have to try them next week.
All in all this place is great. I look forward to eating there for a long time.
