BLU
2248 Texas Dr, Sugar Land, Texas 77479
MY REVIEW: Good idea for a concept and nice atmosphere. I went during lunch and ordered one of their three course lunches. The price was pretty good, but the food isn't as eclectic as I thought it would be. The Tom Yum soup lacked lemongrass and didn't have much bite to it. The fried edamame was nice, interesting appetizer. The fish was nice and flaky, but the sauce was nothing special. In all, I think trying to do a fusion of favors takes away from the nice authentic favors that makes the regional Asian flavors this place is trying to celebrate. Perhaps it is a work in progress.

MY REVIEW: OMG! This restaurant is a GEM! I have visited BLU in a big group and as a couple and everytime we go it has been an amazing experience. Their menu is so innovative and creative. My favs are the lamb samosas, shrimp remesco, tuna tataki and the pad thai. They have a 3-course lunch menu for only $12!!! You get gourmet food with excellent service for $12! We have been there for the live jazz Sunday Brunch and the crabcake benedict is one of the best I have ever eaten. We need more places like this one.

MY REVIEW: Just what Sugar Land Towne Center needed.... Great atmosphere... The perfect touch to the already amazing place to meet up with Friends... Actually going back this Saturday to sit on their patio and visit with friends and have some cocktails.

MY REVIEW: We stopped by here after eating in Town Center on a Saturday night. The place was packed with guys (the line for their bathroom was pretty long, but no line for girls) but there were girls there too. The decor is really nice, not a typical sports bar. I would describe it as much more upscale. Once the game was over they had music playing and I think the music videos were playing on the many TVs that are positioned all over the place so no matter where you are you have a clear view of them. We all had fun even though it was super packed we are able to find a tiny table and claim a a spot for everyone with us. We hope to go back and try the food, it sounds good from the menu we saw.

MY REVIEW: I have not ate there yet, but I have drank. If you want a table, you better get there before the crowd. The place is too small for he amount of people that are allowed in there. Its a great atmosphere and look, just too crowded. The drink prices are a little high also. But, if you like being in crowded places seeing EVERYONE you know, then its the place for you.
