Gorditas Mexico
712 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, Texas 77550
MY REVIEW: The huevos rancheros are really good. They are served over easy with a tomato-y sauce that is not spicy, refried beans lightly dusted with queso fresco, a side of diced potatos in red sauce, and chilaqueles in red sauce, also dusted with queso fresco and drizzled with crema (mexican creme fraiche). This plate was plenty for two people and at under seven bucks it was a bargain. Also, it comes with homemade tortillas, your choice of flour or corn. These tortillas are the real thing and not from a package. The chips and salsa, both red and green, were complimentary and very good. The restaurant has a fruit/snack stand next door where you can get fresh fruit cups, sno cones and really good hot dogs. Eat out on the patio or take your snacks across the beach to stewart beach. I have also picked up some guacamole and chips for snacking while people watching on the beach. Great place. One of the best restaurants in Galveston.

MY REVIEW: Food was great. Service a little slow, but great place to relax and have a couple of beers and quesadillas. Great variety on menu my wife and I had 4 different types of quesadillas all of which were great. They even had a mole style chicken quesadilla you don't find that very often.
