MY REVIEW: I went to Cafe Byblos last night (early, before the entertainment). I had purchased a "Groupon" and was trying out a new restaurant. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonble. Our waitress, Nur, was very helpful with the menu and gave us outstanding, friendly service.

I am looking forward to going back.

MY REVIEW: First visit and I will definately go back. Services was outstanding, Food was amazing and reasonably priced. On Saturdays is the best time as they have live music and belly dancers. It start super late but well worth it. Excellent adventure in dinning and the hookas were a blast. I highly suggest this if you are wanting to try something different. I am 100% pure Texan and this felt honestly like I was in the friendliest middle eastern town. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

MY REVIEW: On the good side the restaurant was very clean, as was the bathroom.

Unfortunately, the food was just ok nothing special. The hummus was bland and they tried to pass off regular wine as a reserverve wine. I would not bother to go again.

So i went to b4-u-eat and discovered Cafe Byblos! i first went there in 09 and fell in love w/ the food and ambiance! It truely reminded me of home! The service was also really good!! MY REVIEW: When we 1st arrived, we were pleased to be greeted at the door by a very friendly waitress. She was one of the best waitresses I have had and was very informative. You could tell that she was very passionate about cooking and the food. I had a chicken pita sandwich and it was great. Cafe Byblos is a very beautiful, clean restaurant with great indoor and outdoor seating. I was dissapointed that there was no belly dancing the day that we went (only weekends). Other than that, I would def. recommend it and I will visit again while I am in the city.

MY REVIEW: The resturant was very nice, we went to watch some of our friends belly dance and to eat dinner. The food was good, but the service was terrible. They had only one waiter taking care of the whole place. He was helpful at first but then was hard to find afterward. Some how my husband managed to keep getting refills on his long island iced tea but my water glass didn't get refilled until right before we left, not that I didn't try to flag him down,His lack of eye contact was well mastered. Not to mention the 18% gratuity that was added because of the size of our group. I would not go back because of the service.

MY REVIEW: Let me start off by saying that I visited this place because I had been craving Mediterranean for awhile. I logged onto b4ueat in class and this place had a good review, so I stopped by. I ordered the Fattoush and pita with hummus. Both were shockingly excellent. The owner and workers of the cafe are all very friendly and were very open to customizations and suggestions for dishes. I appreciate that they took the time to really listen to what kind of foods I like to eat and did their best to make me happy. Places like this are rare, I wanted to get the word out to people to let everyone know how special this cafe is. Overall, a 5 star experience and I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer!

MY REVIEW: Today was my second visit and the restaurant did not dissapoint! My husband and I think this is the best Lebanese restaurant in the city. We had the fool mudammas as an appetizer. It was delicious! The beans were perfectly cooked, garlicky, lemony and full of flavor. I had the falafel platter which comes with three falafel, tabbouleh, hummus & baba ganoush. The falafel had great texture--crunchy on the outside and like little pillows of chickpea goodness on the inside. My husband wasn't too hungry so he had their signature salad. He said it was terrific, too.

Our waiter, Muhammed was very cordial and attentive. He said they have a flamenco & salsa show on Wednesday nights starting at 8:30pm and belly dancing on Friday and Saturday. We'll definitely be back and bring our friends!

MY REVIEW: The restaurant is beautiful and food was great, but service was horrible! We were in a large group but the restaurant was not busy at all. Our waiter was very nice but disappeared for 30 minutes after bringing our food out. He came around once for refills and that was before the food came out. I literally stood at the edge of my table for 20 minutes trying to get his attention but not once did he come. I finally complained to the hostess and told her we need refills and we also want the waiter to bring out the cake. A little while later a man came to ask me what is the problem with the waiter. He seemed like an owner or partner. He took off and didn't say a word, not even that he's sorry for the inconvenience. Couple of minutes later, another man came and said "your waiter is getting the cake, that's why he is not here". I told him that I just told the hostess about the cake and where was the waiter before that. That man left as well - without apologizing. 10 minutes later the waiter comes out and pretended like nothing happened. What made me so upset is that no one had the courtesy of at least apologizing! My advice - dont go there in large group.

MY REVIEW: The restaurant is very pretty and the service was good. The food is the biggest problem in this restaurant.

We ordered the mixed grill and we got 1/2 the amount of food pictured in Houston Press!

The food taste is below average. Not good enough for us to come back again. Eating here made us felt ripped off.

MY REVIEW: Very delicious food! The highlights were the Fallafel, the Hummus with minced lamb and pine nuts, and the cooked shrimp. Definitely get the garlic sauce if you get any of the kabobs.

The restaurant is very well decorated and has a nice general set-up. The wait staff is very attentive and the manager checks back frequently to see if everything is up to your standards.

A nice place to go after is the P*honecia Grocery store on Westiemer about 10 minutes west of this restaurant if you feel adventurous enough to try to make any of these dishes.

MY REVIEW: Wow by far one of the best resturaunts in Houston. The food was great the waiter was suberb. But the best thing of all was the atmosphere. I feel like anyone coming to Houston for the first time or a local should visit this place.

There was a bellydance show, a live band, and you could also go up and dance. My family isn't middle eastern but we still went up and danced on stage that was the most fun thing about it. The place was really upscale looking. I am def. going back there. OH don't forget to smoke the hookah. you could smoke differnt flavor ones is so cool.

MY REVIEW: I took a group of my family visiting from the Caribbean and they enjoyed every minute of their visit to this place !! The band members was great and had a pleasant face, and always smiling. The singer was the greatest, he tried his best to please the crowd with whatever the request was and he sounded great with each song he sang!! The belly dancer was very interesting and wiggled her body to the songs of the singer and the musicians, they were excellent together !!

The food was delicious and the service was very pleasant! Dancing was the best for us, we all left very happy and contented!! I will recommend this place to each and everyone who wants to have a great time !!
