Hacienda Guanajuato

MY REVIEW: First time visit and will return again. It's not hard to find good (average) Mexican food in the metro-Houston area (excellent is a different story), so the many good ones need some kind of edge to stand out. We ordered Beef/Chicken Fajita Nachos and FAJITAS A LA DIABLA. Both were very good; chips and salsa were good as well. Their fajita platters come with decent sides and do not skimp on the grilled veggies (I like grilled onions and peppers with my fajitas). Not sure we found any unique edge to make them stand out from the crowd, but good service and good food close to home is worth a repeat visit.

MY REVIEW: This is my current favorite Mexican restaurant in the Katy area. My favorite dish is the pork carnitas. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced and I recommend the fajitas caliente which is comprised of grilled skirt steak smothered in grilled onions and jalapenos.

MY REVIEW: I have been going dining here at least 3 times a month for the past three years. Overall this place has the best Mexican food around, and it is reasonably priced. The fajitas are GREAT, everything always comes out hot, and I love that my kids eat free Mon-Wed. Service is very friendly.

MY REVIEW: Our absolute favorite! Beats L*upe Tortilla! My family and I love this place! Everyone we bring there does too! Prices are great, kids eat free nights and cheap margaritas! My husband and I love the fajitas caliente. Honestly, I have never had anything I didn't like. I LOVE the salsa. We always have great service, sometimes the waiters dont speak good english but they are still very polite and understand it.One of the best things is my family and I can all eat and be out in 30-40 minutes if need be.

MY REVIEW: I passed this restaurant on Mason and decided that I would come back to try it for dinner. I really enjoyed it. This is my new go to place for Mexican. I had queso, beef fajitas, and a margarita. Everything was really delicious. I enjoyed the food, drinks, and service. I will definitely be back!

MY REVIEW: This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Katy. The food is fantastic! I especially love their chip, salsa and guac , their flour tortillas are to die for, and my favorite menu item, is their steak fajitas,! Mmmm! The prices are great, especially if you can catch them during their lunch hour specials. This place is tucked away in a little strip center off Mason. The next time you're in Katy, make it a point to check this place out!

MY REVIEW: Other than the cheap prices, we didn't think it was anything special. Food was OK but there are better Mexican restaurants in Katy. Beef fajitas were chewy, salsa was bland. We did not find the service to be all that friendly. Our waiter barely spoke to us - just mumbled. However, another waiter thanked us on our way out. Maybe it was just an off day so we'll try it again sometime, but overall we were not impressed.

MY REVIEW: We love this place! The beef fajitas are the best! The order is always right, portions are great, food is always hot, friendly staff and atmosphere.

Our family (and now most of our friends) eat at Hacienda Guanajuato several times a month. There is something for the kids as well. Mon-Wed kids eat free, one per adult entree. This makes for a great inexpensive dinner.

MY REVIEW: This is an AWESOME Mexican restaurant. I rank this place one of the top three Mexican restaurants in Katy (it is especially convenient as it is very close to my home). Service is exceptional, food quality is great and the price is reasonable. We have enjoyed about 5 dinners here and have never had a bad experience. We thoroughly enjoy Hacienda Guanajuato and will continue to frequent the establishment.

MY REVIEW: This place is GREAT!!! Extensive menu with exceptional pricing. Everything we've tried has been way above average. MY REVIEW: We've had breakfast and lunch there several times. The breakfast menu has a good variety of items, we enjoy that most. The cost is very reasonable, the servers are attentive and the atmosphere is pleasant. Highly recommended.

MY REVIEW: This place has some good variations on typical Tex-Mex. I really love the slow roasted pork carnitas. Great lunch specials for very reasonable price, I really like the beef fajitas caliente, beef served on bed of caramelized onions and topped with melted cheese and jalapenos. I normally prefer refried beans, but their barracho beens are very tasty. Service is terrific.
