MY REVIEW: i went tonight for the first time and enjoyed it a lot. i had two call drinks and sliders with sweet potatoes fries and a delicious homemade dipping sauce, all for $15. it was a great value: the food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was laid-back and enjoyable. i'll definitely go again.

MY REVIEW: This is a great addition to the Midtown area. It's not really a wine bar. They have a short wine list dominated by uninspired multiple selections of a few varietals. It could be good with some tweaking. They do offer a full bar, and seem to cater to the midtown crowd with shots and such.

The decor is nicely funky with a few little side rooms that offer a bit of privacy.

Their menu is what really sets this place apart. The food their kitchen puts out is fantastic. We started with potstickers, and I had pretty low expectations, figuring we'd get microwaved Sysco products. What we got were big, fresh-tasting, and covered in a tasty sauce with fresh tomatoes scattered around.

We took a little break, had some more wine, and enjoyed the music they were playing. It's a wide range of stuff bouncing around from Americana to lounge music to classic rock.

After that we tried their chicken nachos which were also impressive. Big chunks of tender, moist chicken and good flavor. We finished off with the tacos and churros, both of which left us very satisfied.

The plates aren't meal-sized (and aren't meant to be), but do make for nice sharing.

All in all, we spend a leisurely three hours hanging out there and enjoyed every minute. We'll definitely be back.
