Kim Leng Chinese Restaurant
18430 Kuykendahl Rd, Spring, Texas 77379
MY REVIEW: We were looking for a new "favorite" Chinese restaurant. I'd received a flyer for Kim Leng and after reading a few favorable online reviews we decided to try it. There were about 10 tables/booths ( I think!) but completely empty! This was around 6 pm on Friday. Decor is simple but the place looked clean. The gentleman behind the counter was very polite and helpful with my ordering. Their phone lit up NON STOP while I was waiting for my food (it took about 15 minutes) and people were constantly going in and out picking up their orders yet this man handled everything smoothly and happily! When I asked for certain condiments he graciously gave me what I'd asked for. My husband judges any Chinese restaurant by their Special Wonton soup! He was sold! Dumplings weren't doughy. Chicken "melted" in his mouth and veggies were fresh tasting. I had the Vegetable Lo mein. It was so good! Noodles were fresh, not all stuck together and didn't have that "old oil" smell/taste to them. My veggies were abundant and cooked perfectly! (I did order $1 extra veggies but didn't really need to!) The whole thing had such a nice flavor I didn't have to "doctor it up" at all! As a vegetarian I noticed they had several choices for meat free entrees. The next time I'm trying their General Tso's Tofu! I happened to ask someone who came in to pick up his order if the food was good. He said a friend introduced him to this place a week ago and this was his THIRD time to order that week! Needless to say I believe we've found our new favorite Chinese food place! Prices were reasonable @ around $6 to 7.99 and the amount of food they serve will give you a couple meals.

MY REVIEW: I had the Triple Delight, hot & sour soup, fried rice and egg roll. Great value and food. The place is small but clean and OK. Seem to do a lot of delivery, the guy was in and out continually with bags.

MY REVIEW: I think this place is a good honest value. Now you don't really go there to sit in the restaurant. It's small, and I was the only one eating there on this weekend evening, but the food ended up being very inexpensive and surprisingly good. Meal for one included an eggroll, soup, and a plate of orange chicken and rice. No complaints. All for about $10, tip included. I'll be back again when I want something quick and reasonable.

MY REVIEW: I have been to this resturant at least once a week for the last year. I stopped by last week, and much to my supprise. There is a new owner. Which is not a good thing. I'll keep things short. The food is no longer any good. The lady(owner) was rude, and I will neer go back!!!!
