MY REVIEW: This is a very special place indeed! The food is absolutely wonderful and reasonably priced. The freshly made Cream of Mushroom soup was the best my husband and I have ever eaten. Our entrees were the seafood crepes and the flounder imperial - both were delicious. All of the food at Luis' is made fresh.
The service was excellent and personable.
If you are looking for a quiet, cozy restaurant with soft classical music in the background and it's easy to carry on a conversation, this is the place for you. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Don't change a thing!

MY REVIEW: My husband and I made the visit to Luis' on the recommendation of friends. Strong points: Wonderful food - my husband had Petit Filet Bourguignonne of Angus Beef with Mushrooms. I ordered the Beef Medallions with Lump Crabmeat topped with Béarnaise Sauce. We shared, both were so delicious; both sauces were as smooth as a baby's. The house salad was simple but so fresh: field greens and lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and julienne carrots. We chose the Basil Vinaigrette dressing over the Ranch dressing. The dessert - L'Effiel Tower Cake is a chocolate lovers delight.
The only drawback was the small serving of the vegetables - delicious, but just a few more slices would have been better.
The restaurance itself is cozy, the perfect size for an enjoyable evening out with friends and family. Lovely quiet colors and beautiful service.

MY REVIEW: I went to Luis' last night with my family: 9 of us in all, including 3 kids. I must say that everything: food, service, ambience, was excellent. The chimichurri sauce served with the bread was good enough to drink, and the crawfish bisque was fantastically smokey/creamy. My daughter's steak was a perfect medium rare, and, even though she didn't want the sauce, Luis convinced her to get it on the side. After she tasted it she proceeded to pour it all over her steak.
The crepes Suzette were not overly sweet; like perfect little orange flavored clouds.
We do these family meals a few times a year, when everyone is in town, and I must say that every single person was as pleased as punch with their entire experience. And if you knew my family, you too would be amazed by that. The complimentary wine didn't hurt either. And it was actually good.
All in all, a great experience. I will be back and I will recommend it to everyone I know.

MY REVIEW: The owner made me a mimosa to go with my "brunch" I had a poached egg sandwich with spinach and a juicy slice of tomato. The strawberries on the side were delightful touch.
Strong points - owner is the chef and can make you what you want, if your in the mood for something different "if the ingredients are availible". Mimosa refreshing and free.
Weak points - the limit on mimosas was 2. Not open on Sundays. Not open on Sat. for brunch/lunch.
I went back for lunch yesterday and had the special, vegetarian pasta with a glass of white wine. The pasta had a slight kick of heat and the vegetables were succulent.
