MY REVIEW: my wife discovered this little place by accident when she was driving down Eldridge. It was after Ike and we were still without power and eating out every day. She brought home 2 sampler plates and we ate them al fresco on our patio. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. It was a nice change from the pizza, burgers, etc. we had been having for a week.

Today we stopped by the restaurant to eat. It was a Saturday afternoon about 1:15 and the place was not crowded at all. We had excellent service and the owner came by after our meal to ask how it was. I had the falafel wrap and my wife had the gyro wrap. They are huge and packed with good stuff. The falafel was very fresh and not so deep fried like it is at some other places. The gyro meat was very tender and flavorful. We ordered a bowl of hummus but we were too full to finish it. You could tell it was freshly prepared too.

This is a great place for Mediterranean food and I hope it survives.

MY REVIEW: Visited this new Lebanese/Mediterranean restaurant that is in the same location of a previous Mediterreanean restaurant. Interior was redecorated/remodeled a bit from the counter/kitchen area. I had ordered a gyro and a cheese Sanbousek appetizer. Both were very good. Prices for entrees look a little high, but it seems they give large portions for the price so it is not too bad. Service was quick and servers/management were friendly.

Hopefully, this business will have better success than the previous occupant. I will come again to try out other offerings.

MY REVIEW: Great place to eat Lebanese food. I'm becoming addicted to the food at this Restaurant.

It is clean place with fresh and home style food. The service is the best in town. Family owned business and the family members prepare the food.

I like that the owner check on us every time after we finish our food. When you TRY it you will LOVE it.

MY REVIEW: This is a great new Lebanese restaurant. The Hummous was delicious, freshly home made. The gyro/shawarma I had was possibly the best I've ever had. When I complemented the owner on it, he brought his mother out from the kitchen--she's responsible for how good the food is. I usually frequent Cafe L*ly and Mary*z in the Galleria area; Petit Cafe is easily their equal (at least on the short-order, lunch side of things) in the Energy Corridor.
