MY REVIEW: The food is fabulous and the selection is extensive. One of the cleanest restaurants I have ever seen and the service is excellent. The owners are new since February 2012. It is not easy to find, located in the Greatwood Subdivision, but worth the search!

MY REVIEW: Love the food here. My favorites are the Massaman curry with tofu, the green curry with any meat, drunken macaroni, and pad kee mow. Seriously, delicious food. The service is another thing, however. The waitstaff seems to be VERY VERY harrassed and disorganized. Someone seriously needs to help them get that straightened out. Having to ask for things 3 and 4 times is not acceptable. There are so few places downtown that have food I really like, I am giving them slack, for now.

Also, after you are done, get a Thai Coffee to go. It is sweet and rich and cool. Exactly the thing to help you get on back to the office.

MY REVIEW: Went here two weeks back. I posted the review. I am not sure why it is not on the site yet. Anyway, I am posting it again here.

The food here is ok.. not something great. The service is pathetic at the best. You have to tell the waiters 2-3 times to get your food.

I will not be going here again.

MY REVIEW: By far the Best Thai spot I have been to both here, Chicago,LA, NY, just period.

I prefer the original owners but the new owners as of early 2010 are not that far from the original, chef and wait staff. They do have happy hour now which is just as good, vibe is okay; still building up the crowd.

I have had the green, yellow, and red curry, pad Thai, kai pad med mamuang hImmapan, pot stickers, crispy egg rolls, sweet n spicy soup, I could keep going but those are very great choices! Nos my absolute favorite is Pad kee Mao it is EXCELLENT be aware that it is spicy but so so good!

MY REVIEW: My husband travels to Thailand often and his initial remark about this restaurant was: "this is the real deal". As many have said, staff was polite and attentive. Prices were reasonable, establishment was clean. We had fried calamari, crispy egg rolls, Tom Yam Kung soup (spicy and sour prawn soup) and shrimp fried rice. Also had Thai tea and for desert mango w/ sticky rice. All was wonderful. As to the soup, if you can eat mild jalapenos, you can eat this soup all day long w/o stomach upset or irritation. Highly recommend this place. They also have takeout and do catering.

MY REVIEW: This is an excellent restaurant. My wife and I are vegetarian and they have many options in both Thai and sushi. Everything that we have had has been wonderful. The Thai is very flavorful and spicy. The sushi was also very tasty. In addition, the owner is also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return and take our friends and family to Bangkok chef.

MY REVIEW: I've had sushi takeout from Bangkok Chef a couple of times and was very impressed by their menu. On one occasion, my young kids sat at the sushi bar and the chef gave them free samples of crab...which they turned down, of course, but I was very happy to see the chef engaging the kids. The staff is very friendly and oh - the Thai menu, as well, has a good selection and seems very authentic. I've only had their Thai food once but it was very good and spicy; just the way I like it.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I get take out from here weekly and occasionally dine in. The food is always consistently outstanding and the staff is very accommodating to our requests. They have the best shrimp fried rice and pad thai we've ever found. What a treasure to have this wonderful restaurant in our own neighborhood!

MY REVIEW: Regardless of what city I live in, I always try every Thai restaurant I can find in an effort to find great thai curry. I am so fortunate that this place is right next to my son's daycare and OH MY is it good. I have tried around 10 Thai places in Houston but none of them have compared to this place. We have sampled their calamari which has big cuts of calamari lightly fried, great spring rolls, their soups are excellent. The curries are fantastic loaded with flavor and a nice variety of veggies, the Panang is my #1 choice!. My son loves their pad thai which I have to admit is one of the best I have ever had. We have recently sampled their sushi (which I find odd since its a Thai restaurant.. but hey.. its the craze, right) and surprisingly enough they have one of my favorite rolls in Houston (The Boston Roll). Their happy Hour for 4-6 is fabulous. We are here once a week and they are consistent in their great food from week to week.
