MY REVIEW: My boyfriend and I decided to visit this restaurant after reading about it in the Houston Press.
Positives: clean, nice decor, nice wooden tables and chairs, food tastes good; good green sauce; good tostadas with beans complimentary
Negatives: the whole visit was off a little.... problems we had:
- the waiter was a little off and seemed like this was his first day
- About 5 minutes after ordering we noticed the cook questioning the waiter about the order so I called the cook over and spoke to him in Spanish b/c we really wanted to get our order out correctly.
- When our order came out one was correct, My bf's breakfast tacos were correct and tasty but I had ordered chilaquiles and was brought enchiladas. Then when I was brought by chilaquiles, there was no eggs, finally after asking for eggs we were set
The entire visit was weird, but will likely visit again if we see positive reviews on this website and the waiter/greeter get some experience. Maybe he was just filling in, not sure.
