MY REVIEW: We love this place.The food, both breakfast and lunch are always very good.I am hooked on the crab cakes ,my teens love any sandwich they have and my husband has tried multiple things.I have taken my sister and they were very happy to work with her preferences.She doesn't care for certain spices and she was very satisfied.A friend and I meet there for breakfast .I adore the breakfast with fresh veggies ,fresco cheese and avocados.Great homemade potatoes and special sauce.My friend inhales their french toast.Very reasonably priced.

MY REVIEW: Had a lousy breakfast there today. Cold hard scrambled eggs, undercooked bacon, hard, dry toast. Chunks of potatoes (around 20, somehow browned but not cooked). Could not eat them. My husband got the Sohosando Taco, a veggie wrap, he said it was OK. None of our food was warm.

MY REVIEW: I suggested Essence House for a family meal with my parents & sister. I bought a coupon deal based on the positive reviews I saw here. Sadly, we were the only patrons at 5:30 pm on a Friday night. I say sadly, because the food was really good and I am hoping more people find out about this little gem before they end up closing down. While we could tell the waiter was not completely familiar with the menu/offerings, he was happy to go check. My father & sister were able to order breakfast and they made a cheeseburger (not shown on the Westheimer menu) for my husband. The food was fresh, delicious and made with quality ingredients. It took a while to get the food but we couldn't say a bad word about it after we finished our meal and were talking about when we could return before we even left. We will be back and will tell all of our friends!

MY REVIEW: Excellent cafe. Everything is great. Vegetarian sandwich - sohosando is different and very tasty. My husband loves the Italian chicken sandwich. Breakfast is served late on weekends. Recommend the juevos Mexicanos. Cookies are better than cakes. Sticky buns are awesome. Wish they had a location in Katy.

MY REVIEW: What a hidden treasure! Awesome collection of salads & sandwiches with the freshest ingredients. One of my favorites is the salad with blue cheese & freshly sauteed shrimp. The Buffalo burgers are great too. Their bread is house made, nab a loaf to take home if there are any left.

The pastries are good but the cakes are Mexican style with too much fake coloring and syrup. Go for a freshly baked cookie instead.

MY REVIEW: Great little cafe, especially for a little town like Fulshear. A great variety of snacks, cakes, cookies, patisseries, quiches and sandwhiches. Also, large selection of drinks (lots of mochachino type things). The restaurant was nice and clean when we visited, and the staff were especially friendly. Prices are reasonable - not super cheap, but not over-priced either (e.g. cheaper than comparables, like the French patisserie chain well known around Houston: La M....

We will definately go back, its nice to have something local rather than chain food all the time.
