MY REVIEW: Delicious cuban food. I have taste most of their specialties: masitas de puerco, chuletas, cuban sandwich, picadillo, rabo encendido, ropa vieja.
Buņuelos are awesome, all desserts. Ambiance is very nice, good service and treatment, very good people.
Prices very fair. Amount of food full to the best eater.
Cuban sandwich excellent like LatinAmerican of Miami.

MY REVIEW: This place has authentic Miami-style Cuban food. The owner was born in Cuba and raised in Miami. And it shows in the food. Cuban sandwich was great, as were the ropa vieja and other entrees. The owner, along with his Texan wife, are very nice people who give great service. I am now a regular of this fine restaurant.

MY REVIEW: This is our first experience with cuban food and we definitely were pleased. Started with a cuban empanada with habanero hot sauce---excellent. I had the "masitas de puerco" which are fried chunky pieces of pork in a garlic "mojo" sauce. Two sides were "tostones"-fried plantains and black beans and rice-the beans were soupy like I love them and seasoned just right. The only regret I have is having eaten too much off my friends plates, such as "ropa vieja"-also great and a cuban steak sandwich, that I didn't get to try their desserts--that'll happen my next visit. Will be back 4-sure!

MY REVIEW: The Cuban food was excellent! Cafe con leche good too, I hope they will serve Flan or Arroz con leche in the future. And also I hope they add Piccadillo to the main menu list. Gave thumbs up to the chef. Will be back real soon!

MY REVIEW: The first words that come to mind are: Oh So Good! I really enjoyed the food and the service. For an appetizer, I had the empanada with the hot salsa...it was to die for! For lunch, my friend and I split the Cuban sandwich and the steak sandwich. Both of these sandwiches were fresh, hot, and delicious. The family owned establishment had excellent service and a very friendly staff...I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Cuban food at a great price. Oh yeah, don't forget to try the Jupina soda!

MY REVIEW: Finally got to cure our homesickness for Miami Cuban food. We've tried half a dozen places in Houston all claiming to be authentic, but this is the only one we've tried that really is. We had the Manolo bistec..wonderfully prepared and the platanos maduros were perfect. Best of all...real cafe Bustelo prepared real Cuban style..sweet with foam on top and the tres leches for dessert was very good. The service was friendly and accommodating and we will definitely become regulars.

MY REVIEW: This was my first experience at a Cuban restaurant and I'll definitely be coming back. It's family owned and operated...only been open a month, but's is the type of place you'll return to. You get generous portions for a reasonable price. Myself and two other people ate for under $30 - drinks included. I recommend the pechuga con pollo with the black beans and rice mixed and sweet plantains. Also, if you're craving something summery to drink, ask about the jupina - it's delicious.
Service was great, food arrived at our table quickly and the atmosphere was nice. Overall, just a great little hole in the wall place to grab a bite.

MY REVIEW: Just got back from stuffing the family, for $20, with delicious authentic Cuban food! Great place to eat. My wife is Cuban and we are always searching for authentic Cuban food. We found it! I grew up in Miami (34 years), but have been in Houston for 5-1/2 years now. Very hard to find good Cuban food here.
This type of place is on the corner of every intersection in Miami and reminded me of home. Try it, you won't be disappointed. I am recommending Manolo's to friends and all my co-workers who came from Miami when I did.

MY REVIEW: It's a nice little place with delicious Cuban food. Counter service at lunchtime, and the place was empty, you could tell they just opened but there were no kinks in the service or food. Will be a busy place once it gets discovered. Lots of grilled pork dishes on the menu with sides of rice/black beans, authentic Cuban menu. Interesting Cuban sodas.
Chalkboard menu in Spanish, was interesting that the cashier didn't translate the menu into English when we asked about the various dishes. (she spoke English when discussing everything but the menu!)
Charming place, I'll be back.
