I have gone during the week and called in my order and it was ready in time. I opted to eat it there both times. No issues at all. Now to the food. Sandwiches are big and very tasty tried the smoked turkey and the chicken pesto. The salads are a great concept the selections are really good. It is fun to create a tasty salad with the choices they offer. The interior is nice and laidback. They have a patio on the side. The service is friendly and sincere. I will be going back often to try more. I stopped by one evening and was told they were having a private party and they were not yet open for business. I thought it was odd that they could receive so much positive press before they even opened. I tired another few times to discover that they close around 6 during the week. I tried 2 different Saturdays lunch and recently noticed they are no longer open on Saturdays. Lately I have tried calling before driving over but they do not answer the phone and the voice mail doesn't even identify that you are calling a restaurant. A great concept but very unprofessional. With such erratic hours I doubt they will be successful no matter how good the food is. Perhaps posting the hours of operation on their website would lead to more disappointment as I get the feeling they like to open and close as the mood strikes. Maybe they should be honest and state that they cater to the M-F lunch crowd only. I have given up on trying Bowl. Ordered a custom salad with 10 ingredients.... and WOW what a selection! Choose from every fresh veggie imaginable, along with a wide variety of fresh fruit choices, nuts, cheeses, and dressings. I didn't order any chicken or other meats but they do offer them and I am sure they are just as good. A BIG plus- they blanch the harder veggies (ie- broccoli) just a tad to leave the crunch but still have it palatable...you know, so you don't have the stick-in-your-teeth dilemma so many other salad places leave you with. The service line was a little off (I think it was their first day to be open, as everything was half price for training), but very friendly! I got the El Capitan, which was good, but the prosciutto was a bit strong. The salad was by far one of the best I've had in years. I highly recommend the strawberry vinegarette.
