While I am a white guy/grino, this place has all of the hallmarks of home cooking. Filled with Indian and Pakistani guys getting their fill and ladies cooking batch by batch in the back. Nothing is premade and it is all fresh. The food is as spicy as you ask for (spicy being hot; well spiced, being fully flavored with spices from the Indian sub continent). I have never had anything bad here and the ladies at the counter are helpful in suggesting dishes you may like. Make sure to ask for the pickle if you want more chilis on the side.
