MY REVIEW: I am a regular at the new Bombay Brasserie restaurant in the Galleria. I used to go to the Richmond location before. There food items on the lunch buffet is very delicious, with many veg. and non-veg. items to choose from. There service is unmatched (I have been to many Indian restaurants here in Houston). I can't wait untill there Contemporary menu starts.

MY REVIEW: The food is Punjabi style as advertised for namesake only, the flavour and aroma of the spices is very subdued. The curries are floating with the creamy sauce which makes the curries bland and very buttery. Choice of appetizers is limited on regular buffet which seems to be pricey for the variety of food in the buffet.

MY REVIEW: This was my first visit. The moment we entered there was chaos..lots of people and no one on the door to get us seated. After a short while we guessed there is private party going on in the main hall.. I had to stop a waiter and ask him if the restaurant is open for general entry. He asked us to wait and then got us the seats in the adjacent area to the party hall and it was a lot noisy and me n wife could hardly hear each other. Also u could see the pressure on every staff of the restaurant..everyone was in a hurry..waiters running and hitting tables..restroom door was blocked by the DJ playing for the party..duh!!.
Anyways we ordered veg thali and no doubt the food was awesome..especially saag paneer..i guess we chose a wrong day to go there..I dont think the restaurant has facilities enough to hold a big party and run the restaurant as well.. they should close the restaurant when there is a party..

MY REVIEW: It is grand to have Bombay Brasserie open again in the Galleria area. Lunching there yesterday with friends, we found that it serves the same good North Indian food that we used to have before the fire. The new restaurant is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The service is professional and courteous. The food is moderately spiced, but heat is available in the chutneys and chile/onion salad if needed. Every dish on the buffet was very good, the naan was hot, fresh and delicious, and the tandoori chicken was to die for. Fresh fruit and rice pudding were available for dessert. We'll be back.

MY REVIEW: First visit to this location. Great food, beautiful decor and the most attentive and friendly staff imaginable. I asked the waiter about lamb korma, which was not listed on the menu, and he immediately told me they would be happy to make it for me. Now that's customer service! Thanks for a great dining experience, I'll definitely be back.

MY REVIEW: Wonderful! I am so happy they did this. I have been going to G*ormet India for a couple years and have been spoiled by them. I am so glad to have another resturaunt in Houston that can prepare the food to the same standard, plus with a truly elegant atmosphere. Go now before everyone figures out about this new treasure. This resturaunt will most definatly be rated the top Indian Resturaunt in Houston for a multitude of reasons. They have an extensive wine menu, full bar, best saag paneer, beautiful decor and unbelievable wait staff. I can't express in words how happy I was with my discovery of this place. I rate this in my top 5 overall for Houston area resturaunts and #1 for Indian. Perfect date spot very luxurious and romantic.
Enjoy!

MY REVIEW: This was my first visit to their new location-it wont be my last. The place is beautifully decorated & the staff was so friendly & so helpful. It is a really nice place, I was very impressed. Our food was delicious! We had the chicken tikka & the yellow dahl. Both very good! Lots of food too, it was enough for three people. The prices were good. We were definitely impressed with this new location. I cant wait to try the lunch buffet.

MY REVIEW: I don't have much experience with Indian cuisine, but, for me, what set this place apart was its exceptional dining room service. The staff was simply very attentive but not overtly in a way that would distract you from enjoying your meal. The atmosphere was very pleasant, dining room clean, and staff professional.

MY REVIEW: I visited the new location by the Galleria last weekend at lunch. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is friendly and attentive but the food is the real star. The lunch buffet was outstanding. It featured a good variety of meat dishes as well as veg. This has to be the best sag paneer in town!
As opposed to some other Indian buffets the hot dishes were hot and the cold dishes were well chilled. The naan was delivered to out table fresh and hot without our asking. I will definitly be a regular. This is a winner!

MY REVIEW: First visit here but I loved their earlier Richmond location. The ambiance at night is wonderful. Soft lighting, quiet service. The wine room for 12 is very nice.
The naan is the fluffy pillows kind served soft and warm whenever needed. Highly recommend the naan with the garlic.
Our group shared entrees and my favorites were salmon tikka with garlic, tandoori chicken (nice and moist), and the Bombay grill which is just a lot of good stuff! Lamb vindaloo is spicy and when our server heard I liked spicy, he brought over more spicey sauce! Can't remember all the vegetable sides we tried but they were fresh and good, my favorite being the black beans in tomatoes and cream.
We were too full for desserts but noted they have a lunch buffet and we decided when the two of go back that's the way to go to taste all the flavors. Room temperature was perfect and there's a huge parking lot there. Definitely recommended.
