Ray's is an absolute Pleasure. Excellent in every facit of fine dining. It gets 5 stars in my book. Great food, wine, bar, pricing, kitchen, staff, management and ambiance. If you haven't taken the short drive to Fulshear to try it you truly are missing out. It is a "destination" restaurant!!! NAME: KD SUBMITTED: 6/27/2008   LAST VISIT WAS: 5/08 FREQUENCY: Visited 2-3 times MY REVIEW: To start off Ray's Grill has got to be one of the best restaurants in the houston area by far if not the best. For Fulshear residents this is a lifesaver. The chef and owner are very nice and make you feel welcome. The food ,WOW, i have tryed many of the entrees from the burgers to the beef tenderloin and they have blown my mind away. Every single entree left me thinking is there anything that is not good. So far there is nothing that has proved wrong. I agree with the other writer the crab cakes are the best i have tryed and might i add the beer battered shrimp are very tasty. Everything has been cooked perfectly and the food fresh. Overall i highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who would like to try something new and delicious. NAME: AS SUBMITTED: 5/22/2008   LAST VISIT WAS: May 20 2008 FREQUENCY: Everybody here knows my name... MY REVIEW: Ambiance was quite nice. Wait staff were tripping over themselves and unfamiliar with the menu. Although there were only 4 tables occupied our food arrived cold. The wine menu is quite disappointing. Sadly, Fulshear still does not have a quality restaurant. NAME: al SUBMITTED: 5/20/2008   LAST VISIT WAS: 05/16 FREQUENCY: Visited 2-3 times MY REVIEW: Ray's Grill just opened in Fulshear, and if you didn't know you just drove to Fulshear, you would swear you were in the heart of Houston. I put the restaurant and Chef against any in Houston. I look for the WOW factor when I dine out and Ray's Grill "WOWed" me. The duck quesadillas and the crab cakes were an outstanding start to an even better meal. Best crab cakes I have ever tasted by far. The lamb and tenderloin were cooked perectly and accompanied by great sauces. The mint pesto was a great new twist on a traditional lamb side. I highly recommend Ray's Grill. I am looking forward to my next meal.
