MY REVIEW: We got some edamame and miso soup as soon as we sat down. I love the menu, which has pictures of all their specialty rolls so you know exactly what you're getting. There were so many to choose from! We ordered four rolls, and it turned out to be way too much food for two people - the rolls are very big! We really enjoyed the Snow Cone Roll - it is baked with a slightly sweet sauce which made the roll a bit gooey and messy to eat, but was delicious! The other three rolls were very tasty as well, we were just so full by the end! The only slight complaint is that the rice on the sushi could have been been formed tighter so the rolls stayed together better. But maybe they fell apart because of their large size and because they were so chock full of stuff. Currently the restaurant just serves wine, beer, and sake. Not sure if they will expand to include a fuller bar. I enjoyed the meal and will be back.

MY REVIEW: I went with my boyfriend and another friend and my friend ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box and my boyfriend and I ordered 4 different maki rolls which were generous in proportion compared to other sushi places that are American influenced. Very decently priced for the amount of food we had. We are very strong eaters and we could barely even finish our meal. You must try their Spicy Scallop Maki! It's the best!! I love the California influence and the different creative rolls they have. It took us a while to choose which one we wanted because they all looked very appetizing. A huge plus was that it was innovative in the picture and came out exactly like it and was bigger than we expected. Their sashimi was cut in large pieces and everything was extremely fresh for a non-authentic Japanese place. Waitstaff was very courteous and attentive. Would definitely return!!

MY REVIEW: This was our 1st time to visit this restaurant because of my son's birthday. We had 3 people and we ordered a 5-pc Salmon Shasumi and they were so small in size as compared with other japanese restaurant and they were still in ice form, I did not enjoy it. We also ordered 2 bowls of udo noodle and the noodle was so chewy. I did not understand why I got a half bowl of soy bean for appetizer, but I saw other table got full bowl. We also ordered soft shell crab and it was the worst that I ever had before. It was not hot and covered with too much batter.

We are so disappointed and will definitely never come back.

MY REVIEW: Great restaurant! I'm glad these guys moved into town because I was really starting to miss a California style sushi restuarant like this. The fish is very fresh and high quality and the rolls are creative and exciting. It should be said that many of their special rolls (almost 50 of them!) are quite big and are almost a whole meal by themselves. Nice staff, good sushi chefs, clean modern interior; overall a very good addition to this side of town.

MY REVIEW: Went to this place a couple of days after it had opened. Place looks nice and clean (modern look, with Asian styling, flat screen TVs around). I sat at the sushi bar and had a Neiko roll. I am not a hardcore sushi eater but do like to eat it every blue moon, this was tasty and well presented. They also seem to offer bento box style offerings.

Customer service is excellent, everybody was friendly (from the host, servers, and sushi chefs. My drink was always getting refilled without me asking. A manager came by and made sure how service was and gave me some background on the restaurant (turns out it has mostly California locations, and this is one of the first places expanding into Texas).
